Although I have dry, somewhat sensitive facial skin, I like to get it really clean and exfoliate it weekly. I use a variety of different scrubs but have used this one for years on and off. It is tingly and can be harsh if I scrub it hard on my face. I wet my face and use a small amount and gently rub the scrub in a circular motion with my fingers and it's all good. My face is very clean and refreshed after although it does feel a bit dry. There is a big issue at the moment with microbeads and their effect on the environment. I am hoping that Neutrogena changes their formula to exclude them and adds in something soluble like salt, nut shells, or sugar to exfoliate although I do like the way micrboeads work. They don't break down though and cause a lot of pollution in our water. Having said that, I started using this scrub in 2012, long before microbeads were a "thing" and I found it to be a good product for me. I still use it on occasion and still like the way it gets my face very clean and exfoliates the dead skin without being super overly harsh. I am going with 4 stars for performance and value but I am hoping the company does the right thing and removes the microbeads and replaces them with something that works as well but doesn't pollute the earth. Well see what they come up with!

I love how gentle this exfoliating scrub is on my face. I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t burn and doesn’t dry my skin out. A must in my skincare routine. I highly recommend.
