A run visor that works!
Last year I was hiking a lot right after work. When the sun was starting to set after 5pm, the glare of the sun was in my face while facing west on the hiking trails. I hated facing the sun. Blocking the sun with hands or a piece of paper wasn’t the best way. That’s when I decided I needed to get a sun visor.Searching online I bought this run visor by 2XU. Man it’s a great product. Here is why: Having spent over an hours hiking on the trails, I did work up a sweat. The 2Xu visor did a great job of pulling the moisture away from my forehead so the sweat can evaporate quickly. I hardly saw or feel any wetness on the visor after my long hiking trip. It did a great job of keeping my forehead dry. Also, it did a tremendous job in blocking the sun out. I was able to focus on the trails and not on the sun.It feels very lightweight and comfortable. I barely notice i was wearing a visor while I was hiking. The adjustable strap stays on. While running on the trails I never felt the visor was going to come off. What I also like is the many colors you can choose from. I selected the black visor. I like that color because the sweet stains won’t appear that visible or noticeable. The material and the quality on this visor look good. The stitching and the 2XU design are not coming off or fading. The price of $15.00 is very reasonable. The company 2XU is known also for making great compression gears. They made another great product with this run visor. If you’re looking for a visor, look into getting this one.

Good sun visor for running
There are a couple of factors that I consider when choosing a running hat. Firstly, let me say that a running hat/visor is essential part of my sports attire because it keeps the sun off my face. I frequently run 6-8 hours a week in southern California and the sun will damage your skin in no time flat.Factors:1) Light weight - in my opinion using a baseball cap is inadequate because the material is not well suited to absorbing and evaporating the sweat. This is light weigh and wicks away the sweat reasonably well. Any sweat in the material is directed towards the bill and drops away from the face.2) Cool - the open top allows the head to cool. As such it may not be a great product for you if you are bald as there will be no top cover from the sun.3) Washable - into the washing machine and then the dryer... no issues so far. The stitching has held together well and the product retains its shape.4) Fit - I know its just a running hat; however, it has an adjustable Velcro strap that allows for a range of sizes.... goodness.Other good characteristics are the sweatband on the inside which helps keep the sweat out of your eyes. Its a great product and I recommend it with confidence.

Heat and sweat disipation
I've been looking for a running visor for a bit. Felt like my running hats hold in too much heat. Purchased this as a test. Ran with it a couple of times, but recently ran on really hot days. Felt a HUGE difference. Also, it magically holds a lot of sweat without letting it get into my eyes. Today, I poured some water on my head and a little ran down the back where the strap is, but nothing went down my face. I'm gonna order a couple more.

Good visor, great value, decent fit for larger heads.
I'm a big visor guy as my head is large and I have a hard time finding hats that fit. I haven't been fitted in awhile but I'd guess my head is somewhere around an 8 in fitted hats. With that said I like the material and how lightweight this visor is, I find it very comfortable even after a couple hours of wearing while out. My only nitpick is that I actually can't Velcro the strap on the back of the visor so I have it "undone" but since the tab catches on the loop where the Velcro strip goes through on the back it I still get a good fit for me. I don't think that it's a great long term solution but since I usually get a year or two out of my visors before they get too gross anyways I'm not going to worry about it. If they made that Velcro closure strap a bit longer then it'd be just about perfect. The price is nice compared to the name brand visors that are usually about twice as much with the super thick bills.

Not as big as people say it is.
My hat size is 7 3/4. There is barely enough room to get the velcro to stick to keep it on. So if you're 7 3/4 it will probably work. If your hat size is bigger, try something else. It does have the good velcro where there isn't 2 separate pieces and it doesn't stick to your hair. It's light weight and comfortable. I wish it went a little higher up the forehead cause I now have a tan line in the middle of mine. All in all it's a decent visor, especially for the price, just be weary if you have a big head or forehead.

Nice Visor
I have to start off by pointing out that I've never purchased a running visor before this one. And I don't have a lot of experience in running any kind of distance. But for the past few months I've been running a lot more often and much longer than I'd ever run before. That said, I really like this visor. I'm prepping for a 50k trail race in Sept. My weekend training runs are 16-24 miles. This visor has worked well to provide me some shade and to act as a sweatband. I have an average size head and it fits very well. It doesn't give me a headache, even after several hours. IT takes most of the sweat and sends it out to the bill of the visor where it'll drip off without getting in your face. Some sweat still makes it through to my eyes, but nothing too bad. And it seems really well constructed with some quality materials. Comfortable but sturdy and durable. I got black, and it still looks almost new. Nice Visor.

I like how it fits
I like how it fits, as well as how it MOSTLY looks; the velcro strap is an important attribute, as it hats/visors inevitably seem to fit and look better when utilizing this method. I will probably amend this review after I do some intense running with it (I am nursing a foot injury that came about while this item was in transit). Now here is the one caveat: this item is not being packaged properly: whether it is the seller, or after it is manufactured, I am not sure. But it arrives folded and the headband portion has a small folded crease on one front corner. It is annoying and I'm not sure one can get rid of it- we'll see over time- you definitely can't spend a few minutes bending it back in shape by hand: that won't do anything.

Great for sunshine, bad for style
If you want to keep the sun out your eyes while not being bothered about looking like a dork, then this item fits the bill perfectly. I found the fit to be somewhat tight, but thanks to the magic of Velcro I was able to adjust the strap to fit snugly on my bulbous head while keeping the evil UV light from blinding me. Possible side effect is that you'll end up with a Cylon like visor tan across you forehead, but that's well worth the protection is provides. Lets your head radiate heat / get sun burnt.
