This olive oil has a wonderful peppery finish and a fresh, flavorful taste. It’s excellent for salads, dipping with bread, and finishing dishes. The organic quality is a great bonus. Definitely a favorite in my kitchen!

I’m pretty picky about olive oil, and this one from La Tourangelle did not disappoint. Right away you can tell it’s high quality. It has that fresh, slightly peppery bite you expect from early harvest EVOO, which tells me it’s rich in polyphenols and not just a bland cooking oil. I mainly use it for drizzling over salads, roasted veggies, and dipping bread, and it really elevates simple meals. The flavor is bright without being overpowering, and it doesn’t taste flat or stale like some larger bottles can. I also appreciate that it’s organic and cold-pressed. The bottle is sturdy and pours cleanly without making a mess (small detail, big appreciation). It works well for light cooking, but honestly this shines most as a finishing oil where you can actually taste it. If you like a more robust, peppery olive oil that feels fresh and intentional, this is a great staple to keep in your kitchen. I’ll definitely repurchase.

The only reason why I didn't give this 5 stars is because of how expensive it was for the amt. Granted, I know you get what you pay for. I'm about saving money w my big family. I'll go to walmart to shop cuz of the prices nowadays and get more for cheaper. BUT! I thought I knew evoo until I tasted this. Holy crap! Even the smell was mouth watering. I literally took a shot of it. It gave every dish a whole new flavor. My stepdad asked what oil I used in a meatless spaghetti dish I always make. I told him evoo. It blew him away. He had never tasted olive oil so flavorful. Showed him the can. He asked me where I got it and I knew he was about to go get some. I told him Amazon. His smile kinda dropped. He knows nothing about Amazon. Just gona have to gift him a can. I'll have to get another to keep on hand and not go through so fast. You gota try it!

Took a 1 Tblsp hit and when it hit the back of my throat it actually knocked me back a couple of steps - but only in a very good way If it's true that high quality EVOO has a distinct peppery taste that hits you in the back of your throat then this fits that description to a "P". The only EVOO I have been consuming over the past several years is from cans of WP sardines which obviously is not high quality. Those who have been consuming high quality EVOO maybe use to the peppery effect and have a different opinion of the quality of this product but for this novice I am highly satisfied especially at the current price point The tin can "dents" easily but just a little pressure around the "dent" pops it out. I like the unique flip-top pour spout as I was able to pour a Tblsp without spilling a drop. I will not be cooking with it as that would degrade the properties that I'm after and I will not be pouring it on any food as I want it to hit my gut raw. But to each their own...

Definitely peppery taste, indicating this is real olive oil. Much of the "olive oil" we buy these days is fake.

Amazing Olive Oil. First Place high quality. Comes in a nice tin that keeps the light out with a handy pour spout. We use it for Scrambled Eggs instead of Butter.

Ufff. didn't check the ml of the oil and ordered assuming I am purchasing 5 liters. OH lord... my heart sank when I received the package. It is delicious. Since it is 750 ML, rationing it for smelling purposes only.

This is a very good olive oil. We have used it for making aglio e olio, caprese, and even just oil+salt_pepper for plain bread dip - very tasty..will order again.
