RIGHT. So let's start with my hair was not a white bleach blonde perfect for this colour but it was a pretty blonde on the roots and then kind if silver ish, as I had a silver toner on it. However, because I wanted to have grey hair permanently now I wanted to buy the crazy colour silver... but I've seen the reviews and they are very mixed. So I looked for something else and found this. Considering that the last time I bought a silver hair dye from loreal ny hair went green, i was pretty sceptical. But, give it a go whatever. I put it on my hair, and it was sooooo runny. Like wow. But nevermind as long as it works. Then when I saw in the mirror that after like 15 minutes the dye was BLACK I was so scared. When I was washing it off, my hair looked black. But, actually as you can see in the pictures.... It worked perfectly well. Covered my hair great and has the exact colour as on the packaging. So dont be afraid if it goes a bit of a weird colour on your head cause it should be fine!! Best grey hair dye so far.

I’ve always used XXL but didn’t like that the colour washed out after 2 washes so I purchased this brand instead. My hair is just past my shoulders and thick, one box of toner was more than enough to cover my whole head. I did a test patch 48 hours before and followed the instructions; the colour came out perfectly even. My hair is full head foil bleached and I had some root regrowth - so my roots turned lighter brown but the rest of my hair came out dark grey. I didn’t experience any blue or purple tint (I left on my head for about 40 mins). I’m now on hair wash 4 and my hair is a beautiful light silver. I agree the product is runnier than other brands, make sure you put a towel round your shoulders and on the floor just incase. I will def be using this brand again!

After using this product to do my mums hair I'm really happy with the results as I wasn't sure what the results would be on afro Caribbean hair. The hair before using this was dye was jet black and had to be bleached to blonde (last picture) and then a toner was used before dying with this colour to achieve a very silvery and natural looking grey. Happy with the result however I agree with what others have said about the product not lasting long and fading quiet easily. Overall though great product!!

in the description of product it was made clear that this is only suitable for very light hair,or you would have to bleach hair first to get the right colour of product,very dissapointing

Well over the years I've had a lot of colours and I thought as i'm grey now with no colour I would treat myself to this lovely silver grey permanent hair dye, I use L'Oreal before, so felt pretty safe using this, How wrong can I be, I got this dye the following day( today), box all battered, not sealed, checked it over and as far as i could tell nothing had been tampered with, I put the hair dye on as instructed and could see it was turning, thought brilliant, left it on 30 mins and rinsed, well the only colour there was was the end of my hair, the rest just rinsed away and slightly turning my hair(at the root) ginger, dried off my hair and yep ginger tinge and a little bit of grey at the ends, I personally feel like the stuff was gone off, why else would it not work, my hair was naturally grey it should have taken..on the plus side the conditioner was nice. but not £5 worth..just a heads up to anyone thinking of buying this product.

I was really excited to try it,but cause I have long hair , I needed to use 2 boxes of it. On the pictures you can see how it looks like in each bottle and how it looks like when you mix it.It is really thin almost like water and the smell is too strong. When you put it on your hair,after 10 minutes it starts getting purple.It was really easy to dye my hair with the bottle and there is no need of brush. There is a colour mask in the box which smell really nice. After you take a shower the nice smell stays on and it is really easy to brush my hair and the hair itself is really soft. I didn't get the right color everywhere and I guess I have to dye it again soon. I recommend it to people with light blond hairs to get the right color easy. My hair was quite orangey toned before from a bleach this have evened it out and toned it nice. It has a few blue tones but I'm sure it will wash out. It tired out better than expected.

This hair color works well. But a bit expensive y
