I have since bought more bottles, and variations of Valerian root, but when I tell you if you are into autophagic fasting, or ANY kind of long term fasting for health reasons, be SO careful when ingesting this product 😂. I was doing a long term fast (monitored by my doctor of course.) I couldn’t sleep because I was getting near the cut off point and my vitamins were out of whack. A friend recommended this to me. I took the required dose with some water and got into the bath tub. Within minutes I literally felt kind of how I do when I am drunk. I carefully got out of the bath, wrapped my towel around me, and proceeded to have the best sleep I’ve ever had in my entire life for about 18 hours. THIS STUFF IS WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY. It has no after effects like melatonin and things like that do as well, and it is EXTREMELY effective while on an empty stomach. It does look gross, and the smell is HORRIBLE, but hold you nose, and drop it down the hatch and you will have some of the best sleep of your entire LIFE.

Does this company have brand ambassadors? Can I be one? Holy WHOA. I got it yesterday, tried it today for the first time. About 30 mins after I took it I felt a wave of relaxation like I've never felt from any other valarian I have tried (and I have tried ALOT of brands/forms). I legit feel like I took a Xanax. This stuff is fantastic for relaxation!!!

I'm not sure if this is recommended but both my young kids have sleep issues. The almost 4yo has night terrors every evening and the 2yo screams in her sleep as if she's being murdered. I have given them a dropperful of this two nights in a row and both nights they slept soundly with no interruptions. I am beyond thankful and just hope they will keep taking it.

Update after trying it the first night. Took one dropper full an hour later. Had noticed no change so I took another both right under my tongue. After another hour I thought. Well maybe I was supposed to put it in water and it's less effective under the tongue. So I took a third one and put it in some water and drank it. I got maybe 1 hour of sleep last night. If I'm lucky. The only reason I know for sure I fell asleep at all is I actually remember a dream but I was watching the clock the rest of the night. I read a bunch of reviews complaining about the smell and the taste, if it doesn't stink really badly, is it even valerian? It taste better than I expected, directly under the tongue. Praying this works. 4 stars so far based on accuracy of smell for potency of valerian, and surprisingly not as bad flavor as I expected.

I habe been taking valerian for a while intermittently to help me sleep. The liquid works better and faster than pill form. I was so thrilled to fund some affordable ones on amazon because it's difficult to justify a trip to sprouts for just one item and I have 2 small kids to tote around. This is a great quality product. It doesn't habe the alcohol burn like some Valerian liquids do. It does taste terrible when you first use it, but it doesn't really bother me. You kinda ha e to experiment with how much you need, I usually use about 1/4 to 1/2 of the dropper to get the effect I want. This is also good for headaches and for relaxing as well. It works well for me as a sleep aid. I take it 30 minutes before I intend to go to sleep and it works amazingly! No groggy feeling in the morning unless I took too much, but it's not like taking a sleeping pill or benadryl sort of groggy. I've never missed my alarm or slept til noon with this. Like I said experiment with how much you need. A while dropper full was too much for me and I'm slim, 5'6, in my mid 30s, for a reference, if size plays a part or just show tolerant you are with sleep aids. Hope this helps! For sleep - it really helped. The first couple of days I woke up groggy but that eventually leveled off and stopped making me feel that way. What it did to me that I did not expect was make me extremely itchy (all over). It took days for me to figure out why I was so itchy. Valarian root was the only thing I had changed and when I googled it, it came up that it can definitely make you break out in hives and be itchy. Bummer that I have to stop taking it for sleep but the itching is driving me crazy and getting worse each day.

I didn't say this might help you have the best night of sleep of your life. I really-really-really am not saying this might help with your perceived stress levels. What I am saying is this was the missing piece in my peace routine.

This product without alcohal in it made me so sick. My heart raced, it made me dizzy headed to a point walking to the bathroom was like almost impossable without holding onto things. I donot drink alcohal &,only use herbal products to stay healthy..I not only did not sleep ,I slept worse than I've ever slept ever & I dont sleep well is why I tried it. Tried to go to bed at my normal time of 10:30 and fell asleep around 1:30 after taking it an hour before 10:30 pm sleep hours. I woke up at 4am with the worst headache I've ever had & I dont get headaches. The fast heart beat kinda scared me because I'm a healthy person with only sleep issues. This says it relaxes you, NO IT DOES NOT!! at least not for me it had very bad adverse reactions & I was stupid after reading the reviews & expected greatness from this product & bought 2 bottles. I think I'll stick with Melantonan. I may wake up groggy but not have my heart scare the crap outta me...Taste was not bad I didn't think it had a earthy lite taste. I only used 8 drops in water. I wanted a refund & after filling out the refund questioner it says not refundable. I'm out for 2 bottles & was hoping to use to try a different product. I'm writing this not only with a headache but super tired from the problems it gave me & still a bit dizzy. Don't buy it if you've never tried any of this kind of product before. So very disappointed to waist my money on this organic product. 😵‍💫😟 UPDATE: Amazon gave me back my money for this product.. ty Amazon
