I recently got a sous vide machine (you can check my past reviews) and have been sous videing everything that can fit in it! I thought because I use it so often, it might be time to get a vacuum machine. But the electronic ones cost a lot, and who knows if they will break?These are great, use a little syringe type vacuum sealer that sucks up the air, and work so so good! You can also reuse the bags unlike the electronic ones that use a film. Can’t recommend this enough for sous vide users.I recommend using another ziplock bag within it to keep the bags clean. Also, it it doesn’t immediately work, just re-angle the nozzle and try again. When you hear a little pop noise, it’s starting to work.I also use it to freeze some of my proteins, and have attached a photo of it in use! Super flexible little gadget! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These bags and vacuum pump are the real deal! *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2019* I just received these Chefmos bags and the hand-operated vacuum pump. What a pleasant surprise. They work great. Just to prove it, see the picture of my cell phone vacuum sealed in a bag. The little vacuum pump works amazingly well. It only took 5 or 6 pumps to seal my phone (in this smaller bag). So far, the seal has held for 45 minutes, so I suspect it will hold the vacuum for a long time. The bags are thick and the zip lock is very sturdy. In fact you need to use the little bag closing clip( included in the box) to close the bag. I'm sold. For sous vide cooking, this system is ideal. I'm sure the bags can be reused several times. I also own an Oliso vacuum sealer which works somewhat like this device (except it is electric). But this Chefmos device works just about as good, certainly good enough for sous vide and food storage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sous vide bags. *by R***M on Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2019* Let me begin my stating that these do work, however I seriously recommend reading the instructions and use the clips provided.Edit : Fixed my issues with the pump and water entering the bags. You’ll have to press hard and repeatedly put pressure where the bag seals or else the pump won’t work. After learning to get them perfectly sealed by doing so the pump works perfectly fine and seals great. No more leaky bags.
