I was hoping there would be more information on the effects on adult children of cheating parent(s).I disliked the apparent intimation that the betrayed parent is responsible for the children's trauma. While I understand too well the devastation of the betrayed and the enormous time suck of the trauma and grief, (thus taking time and energy away from the children)--the cost or consequence of one selfish parent should in no way be made to blame the parent suffering from the effects. Maybe some empathy and compassion and place the blame where it belongs?The examples also covered the effects on children who find out about the infidelity as children. How about those who find out as adult children? What effect on them? How best to quell their upset?
