The Department of Veteran Affairs Should Issue These For Veterans With Carpal Tunnel, Arthritis, Hand Weakness etc...
The Department of Veteran Affairs Should Issue These For Veterans With Carpal Tunnel, Arthritis, Hand Weakness etc...This is a great piece of equipment. Utilizing this, the sidewinder grip bar, grip rings, finger stretchers, and eagle catcher, in a few short weeks was able to significantly increase my grip strength from around 80-lbs to over 100-lbs in both hands and significantly reduce pain in both my hands/ fingers. The Department of Veteran Affairs should really look at issuing these items to veterans with carpal tunnel, arthritis and hand weakness, etc....Furthermore, for those Engineer’s out there, or those unfamiliar with this type of 2nd-order "meaning", this is a great example of a 5th-Wheel, in action.......(see Merriam-Webster Dictionary application for IPhone for further "clarity" )Furthermore, I own this along with the "Side-winder2" "Pro" – Wrist, Forearm, Grip Strengthener #2, Adjustable Resistance - and it is sort of "like" they fit together to form some "type" of special device- perhaps???? I place them end to end an as if almost by "magnetism" or "static" they stuck together?!?! Also, if roll them around one on top the other it is like a "Yoga" bowl for "sound/ noise"!!! Finally, they are in fact heavy enough, if carried in a bag to be utilized as weapons, such as a "steel" "collapsible" “baton”...or a "lock" in a sock! Whether this was intended or not is "well" "beyond" me! However, it begs a question, as in "SF/ SPEC" Ops community and even Krav Maga- and other forms of "self-defense" everything can be viewed as a weapon, from a rolled up "news" paper to a simple "kat's" toy, such as a “fish” on a “string-“aka” a “whip”!!!!It is a “puzzle…” just like many newspaper “cross-word” puzzles are and vary in “difficuilty”…..So, if that is the case, then why are other items banned by local and Federal government...... "For other's well above me to ponder, such as our “elected” officials, etc....as simply cannot ban everything... or, simply ‘Can" they????????."

Well built and practical.
I am really impressed. This is built like a tank. I truly believe this will last a lifetime and so far I can't imagine it breaking for any reason short of dropping out a moving vehicle on the freeway?I appreciate the ability to control the amount of difficulty easily so I can do different types of finger and grip work. This is literally the perfect pickle jar opening trainer. I also own the "Sidewinder T6" by the same manufacturer and they are both top notch build quality. I highly recommend getting any of their products if you are serious about making grip and forearm training a priority.

Go ahead and buy it.
I had an injury which effected my hands. This product is great for grip strength and especially effective for opening jars. It really targets those muscles in your fingers, fingertips and wrists. Great product. It is expensive which prevented me from purchasing it for a while, but when you get it you will see the quality material and craftsmanship.Thank you!

Not bad.
It's a finely made product, but I would have liked it better if the diameter was a little smaller and if the ends were somewhat more ball shaped instead of wheel shaped. The quality of the material though is excellent.

Excellent product.
Insane build quality, perfectly smooth action and adjustment. I'm not sure how the mechanism inside is designed but the resistance is perfectly uniform throughout the movement unlike various hand trainers with crudely designed springs that are very difficult at the peak of the range of motion and easy at the bottom. I have not used this for any length of time to be able to report results but I have trained my forearms in a multitude of ways and already this provides me with a good challenge. HIGHLY recommend and worth the money for sure.
