5 amazing stars!
This is book 2 in the Hidden Wings world.I love Emma. She is a 17 year old girl who has lost so much that is dear to her but yet gained so much more. A family, friends..... and enemies for no reason other than her birth. A prophecy awaits her. If she can survive until her 18th birthday. She is a mixture of light and dark. Good and bad. Innocence and experience. And her rock, her guardian, her almost everything... KADE .This is a journey to Hell...literally.Friends are lost.. and a new one is found.. Ethon.. Could he be the one to save her? This is a story of forbidden loves, family, good, evil, and finding yourself in the midst of madness."Love should have no boundaries, no limits, and no law. Love should be free and given to whomever it wants."I love this series. I love this world I stumbled onto. The characters are showing growth. Cameo's writing is showing growth. I just can not stress enough how much I enjoyed this. That being said... the ending! Cameo Renae is a literary genius. I love her.I am in so deep I never want to get out.

All around must read awesome perfection!
I just don't even know how to describe how much I love this book! This whole dang series actually! My favorite thing, is Emma, the badass amazing, and easy to love heroin in this book, is just, well awesome. Something that annoys the heck out of me is most main characters are all secretive about all the bad that happens to them and get themselves into more trouble. It kills me, I yell at my book every time. But not Emma, she is smart, honest, honorable, kind. Just a genuinely good soul, and it pays off for her every time. Broken Wings takes you to Hell and the 5 gates protecting Lucifer. And all I have to say is...what a freaking ride! I cried...HARD! I laughed, a lot! and cheered and squeaked and this book is just simply perfect! And it literally takes up 30 seconds from where book 1 leaves off (so does book 3, I'm almost done with that one as I type this) which I love! All around must read awesome perfection! I have already ordered my paperback copies ;)And this series doesn't feel like your typical "angels and demons" paranormal. The Gaurdians are so normal, and hysterical and tragically loveable, and they have no wings, yet. The angels in this particular book that do have wings are the Fallen, and the majority of them are bad guys, so they don't come off as angels. I just think you have to read the books to absorb and appreciate the awesomeness of this series!

Keeps getting better!
This book was completely unexpected, in a good way.The story of Emma and her Guardians continues. Each of the brothers are great characters and Emma and Kade have a special connection. The sacrifice that Kade makes for Emma changes the story. I liked what he did and how his role in this book played out as it was not expected. Did his sacrifice change things between him and Emma? The action that happens in this book was nonstop and keep me reading. After reaching their destination, another loop gets thrown at you with a possible new direction for Emma to go in, and with a new person.Definitely makes you want to keep reading the next book to see what happens. I can tell things will be getting very interesting, and complicated, for Emma.

A solid follow up
I thought this book was better than the first one. The story was more small scale. With a specific task but it worked better than the first book. You see some real growth from Emma. The first real look of why she's so important. Which was sorely lacking from the first book. The descent into hell was pretty good considering how hard it would be to write. Deciding how detailed to get and everything else that could factor into it.There is some good father, daughter moments between Samuel and Emma. A couple good moments between Emma and her mother (I'd like to see more of those). I was surprised at how much these 3 people, long separated, coming together as a family improved the quality of the story. Because it really did.The Guardians are still like college guys at a frat party. ThereIs some more detail but they ate still a little generic. The ending is okay. Not terrible but anti climactic. The author throws in a love triangle which I don't think will be good for the quality of the story. If you read enough urban fantasy you know how this goes. Love triangles often have some mystical or prophecy level of importance. The main character often has no control over it which is just an excuse for her to fool around with more than one guy. Then people will hate her and forgive her then hate her again. It can often take away from the story. This book is worth the $. I will have to wait for the reviews on the next book before I buy it.

Well Hell, here we go!!!!
Excuse me but I think you have a little fire and brimstone on your shoulder. If you didn't think you would be going to hell by means of book then prepare yourself for an epic journey and the unsettling notion of coming face to face with Lucifer.Emma finds herself in the middle of an ancient prophecy that could tip the scales of good and evil. At the time of her 18th birthday she will learn what her fate will become. Her only hope is to survive until then. She has a little less than a year to go and after surviving a night long battle with the fallen her group has taken shelter in a safe house.....for now. Their only chance of survival is to risk their lives and ask Lucifer for help.Surviving an attack from the fallen pales in comparison to the gates of hell the group must face. Cameo turns up the heat throughout the journey and you'll swear you can smell the smoke creeping past your nose. Will they make it? And at what cost? This book does not slow down so prepare to gobble it up within one sitting or two. The plot twists and turns leave you shaken and hungry for answers. This book has a HUGE cliffhanger so try and prepare yourself for the wait until release of book three. I absolutely love this series and it has become one of my favorite reads.

Better then the first!
When I first started reading the first of the series I wasn't too sure. Her wonderful guardian Kade seemed too perfect, and they fell in love waaayy to quickly. I also found it a bit predictable. It all changed in this book though.First, they travel through the 5 layers of hell, forced to fight against the guardians to reach their destination! I loved this. I really loved how Emma stepped up and began to be the bad ass, independent heroine i wanted her to be. Also, many people are saying about how they hated the love triangle. I usually hate books with the slightest hint of romance, especially love triangles. However, although Kade is sweet, I like this new lad in her life. I love a bad boy!

Good second instalment
Again this was too short and I think the lack of detail in parts made this, for me, only four stars. It could have been utterly stunning as it's a fantastic storyline but it seemed rushed in parts that for me should have been more detailed e.g. Emma's feelings and her changing attitude as she goes through the five gates of hell.I only hope that the next is longer.

Brilliant book, as is are all the others in the series. Should be made into a film.
Brilliant book. I read it in one day and night as I didn't want to put it down. I eagerly went to down load the next in the series and read that too as well as the novella book. Looking forward to book four.
