Know your need before you buy
I have installed it and it works. This product has designs that fit specific needs. I bought this and it works with the "Flantor Drip Irrigation Kit" that I bought earlier. It also fits the 1/2 threaded-1/4 barb converter with 5mm OD+ 6.5mm barb. Disadvantage: There are earlier reviews saying it's stiff and needs extra care to reshape. I've found the same. They are way stiffer than the Flantor tubes, so I need to use my hairdryer to heat them before forcing them over the barb. After blow-heating, they can get on the original barbed drip heads by Flantor, but they need 2 steps to fit the 6.5mm barbs: I use the Flantor barbs to expand these pipes first, then heat them again, then push them onto the 6.5mm. I suggest either preparing them indoors first or connecting a power cable to your work site. In comparison, my Flantor pipes are soft and can be directly pushed in. The advantage of being stiffer is that once installed, they can withstand much stronger water pressure. In comparison, my water pressure is higher so my original Flantor pipes (designed for <20 psi systems) pop open sometimes, and my current solution is to bury them in the earth. This new pipe works fine at higher pressure and has never popped. In summary, if your water pressre is <20psi, you may find this pipe too stiff and hard to install, but if you have the same high pressure issue like me and don't want to install another regulator, you may like this type of stiff pipes. I only had it for a week so I cannot comment on the durability in the California sun.

Holds the water
This tubing is amazing. It carries the water from the 1/2" drip tubing all the way to my plants. I use a propane lighter to soften it before I push the ends on. You only need to hold it in the flame a couple seconds. Too long and the tubing gets too soft.

A Drip of Perfection
As an avid gardener, I have tried numerous irrigation systems over the years, but none have impressed me as much as the Raindrip 016010T 1/4-Inch Drip Irrigation Supply Tubing. This black polyethylene tubing has revolutionized the way I water my plants, making the process efficient, effective, and hassle-free. In this thorough and detailed review, I will share my personal experience, provide helpfulness tips, and highlight the key points that make this product a must-have for any gardener. Personal Experience: Let me start by saying that the Raindrip 016010T tubing has been a game-changer for my garden. Its 1/4-inch size is perfect for drip irrigation and allows for precise water distribution to my plants' roots, preventing water waste and ensuring optimal growth. The 100-foot length has been more than sufficient for my needs, covering the entire garden with ease. Installation: Installing the Raindrip 016010T tubing was a breeze. The black polyethylene material is flexible and easy to work with. I simply cut the desired length, attached it to the main water supply, and connected the drip emitters to the tubing using the provided fittings. The entire process took me less than an hour, and I didn't encounter any leaks or difficulties. Efficiency and Water Conservation: One of the standout features of the Raindrip 016010T tubing is its ability to conserve water effectively. With traditional watering methods, a significant amount of water is lost due to evaporation or runoff. However, with drip irrigation using this tubing, water is delivered directly to the plant's root zone, minimizing waste and maximizing absorption. I have noticed a significant reduction in water usage since implementing this system, which not only benefits the environment but also saves me money on water bills. Durability and Longevity: I have been using the Raindrip 016010T tubing for over a year now, and it has exceeded my expectations in terms of durability. Despite being exposed to varying weather conditions, including intense sunlight and heavy rain, the tubing has held up remarkably well. The black polyethylene material is UV-resistant, preventing degradation and ensuring a long lifespan. I haven't experienced any cracks, leaks, or deterioration, which speaks volumes about the product's quality. Flexibility and Versatility: The flexibility of the Raindrip 016010T tubing is a huge advantage. It effortlessly contours around plants, allowing me to create customized irrigation layouts tailored to my garden's specific needs. Whether I'm watering potted plants, flower beds, or vegetable patches, this tubing adapts perfectly, delivering water precisely where it's needed. The versatility of the tubing also extends to its compatibility with various drip emitters and irrigation parts, making it a versatile choice for any irrigation system. Helpfulness Tips: 1. Before installation, make sure to flush the tubing with water to remove any debris or particles that may clog the drip emitters. 2. Use a pressure regulator to maintain a consistent water pressure, preventing damage to the tubing and ensuring optimal performance. 3. Periodically check the tubing for any blockages or leaks. Clear out any debris and repair or replace damaged sections promptly to maintain efficient irrigation. 4. Consider using a timer or smart controller to automate your irrigation system, saving you time and ensuring your plants receive consistent care. 5. If you have a large garden or multiple zones, consider using a manifold to distribute water efficiently and avoid overwatering or under-watering certain areas. Conclusion: In conclusion, the Raindrip 016010T 1/4-Inch Drip Irrigation Supply Tubing has transformed my gardening experience. Its exceptional performance, ease of installation, water conservation benefits, durability, flexibility, and versatility make it an outstanding choice for any gardener. The tubing's ability to deliver water directly to the plant's root zone ensures healthier plants and efficient water usage. I wholeheartedly recommend the Raindrip 016010T tubing for drip irrigation systems, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Really, really stiff
I got this tubing to add to my solar irrigation system. The tubing fits perfectly but it was a little hard to work with because it was so stiff. Now, I did get this during the winter months and it was in the low 40s outside so I'm sure that was a factor. It did not want to uncurl from the way it was rolled up, even when I cut it into smaller lengths. I think as our temperatures warm up around here and the tubing softens a little more it will be easier to straighten this out. I need to be able to string this from plant to plant in my garden. The tubing is nice and thick, just a bit stiff.

Good quality!
This is the slightly stiffer version, more of a poly line. I prefer this over the more flimsy, vinyl type distribution line because to me...it hold on to the nipples better.

Best name brand tubing
Works great for irrigation. Cheaper than home depot and Lowe's for the exact same thing. Used it to direct water to emitters of the main 1/2inch line. Very flexible and soft. But not too soft where its a pain to install on to emitters. Works great!

User friendly
Great quality, the size of the connection was flawless and there were no issues with the flow, laid down flush without kinks wasn’t rough. We did put it out and let it relax on a hot day to make it easier, which was helpful as we have 125 ft total and it didn’t kink once. The price was super affordable and the job was easy to complete on my own.
