Swim Snorkel for Lap Swimming,Adult/Youth Training Swimming Snorkel

I really don’t wanna swim laps without this snorkel. It does a great job, straps are secure and easy to adjust. I have had to tighten the mounting screw after months of use but that’s an easy thing to do!

This snorkel works vey well. It does go over your goggles, so it would not work over a regular swimming mask.

There are so many versions of this type of snorkel on Amazon. I just picked this one for no specific reason other than low price, and next day delivery, and lots of good reviews. Overall, this is exactly what I was looking for. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that, IMHO, the snorkel is a wee bit short if you swim more with your eyes face down instead of looking forward. I couple of times I put my head straight relative to my spine and the tip of the snorkel went below the water line. I tried adjusting it higher but I already had it as tall as it could get and still be comfortable. Its a minor nit and no way to know if any other snorkel would be better (e.g. a taller breathing tube). So I will be keeping it, and just have to swim a little bit differently than I normally prefer to. But other than that, super comfortable, easy to adjust.

I have a Finis Freestyle and the mouth piece was a bit uncomfortable on the upper gums and it would take on water and was unstable for me at higher speeds. I considered getting another Finis but a different model. I did not want to spend the money and saw the Focevi and read the reviews. I have swum with it once so far and have been impressed. I only moved once at higher speeds but I did not have it tightened down enough. Once I adjusted it, everything was fine. It is really easy to adjust things on and the mouth piece for me was a lot more comfortable. I much prefer have a purge valve as I know longer am taking on small amounts of water and have to blow out which during COVID-19 is important since this may concern swimmers in lanes next to me.

Easy to use, comfortable. One issue - I wondered if I could use it without a nose clip, and I tried. Well - I can't. Just a bit of water up my nose starts to irritate it. I had to get a nose clip. So that is a nuisance. I wonder if I should have bought a full facemask and snorkel instead

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have been using this snorkel for a couple of weeks with no issues. I love the fact that I can turn it around and use it for backstroke. I am 57, and I use this product with a snorkel mask or you can use it without. It helps me with expanding my lung capacity and with endurance swimming. The headband does not bother me, just nake sure to tighten the screw so the snorkel hose stays inside the clasp piece. I highly recommend this product.

I highly recommend that you do not buy this snorkel, it is shorter than my previous snorkel and water kept splashing into the top while I was swimming. I bought it because it was a lot cheaper than my previous snorkel which had worn out but it was not worth the cost savings.

After 4 laps I start to suck in water. My previous snorkel never leaked. I would have purchased it but they are discontinued. The swivel part that rests on your forehead is comfortable, but I have to keep purging the water out of the snorkel. I will not purchase this again.

Bought for my son for his upcoming season. He got the hang of it very quickly. He says it’s comfy and works well. Great price too!

This is a fabulous bit of kit. I’ve had no issues with water getting in over the top and I’ve been on the pool when it’s full on busy and we are all trying to get laps in. It’s allowing me to work on my technique at the same time as getting in more distance which is adding to me getting fitter. Check with your pool that these are allowed as not all pools do.

I have never used a front snorkel before but I found this good to use and it has a smaller mouthpiece which is more comfortable.

Allows me to focus more on smooth breathing and strokes. Looks a bit goofy but has made lanes more tolerable.
