Walden Farms Garlic & Herb Pasta Sauce, 12 oz Bottle

I'm going 'middle of the road' on stars. I put it with the miracle noodles and hated it!! Its too watery and way too strong for my liking. It thought the garlic (which I love) was too strong and the cayenne pepper made it too bity for me. So that downgraded the stars...but.. that said, someone else recommended marinating chicken. That has possibilities. That is what gave it the stars it got. UPDATE: I tried it for chicken, steak, salmon and forever more my list will go on. This rocks for a marinade!! I upgraded to five stars. Zero calories, oh yeah!! Nice flavor! I will keep reordering!

I was hopeful that it would not have that funky Walden Farms taste, but it does.

I have tried a few other Walden Farms products in the past, including their peanut butter chocolate spread (decent), caramel sauce (pretty good) and sweet onion salad dressing (not awesome), but this stuff is actual trash. It is weirdly gooey and when I opened it I spilled some on my bed . I've learned my lesson with these "zero calorie" foods: I'm going back to balsamic vinegar.

Unlike it's tomato/basil cousin, this sauce is actually good. It went well with both chicken and shrimp. It does, however, disolve any left over shirataki noodles...so there are no left overs with this product. If you were looking for a true buttery goodness scampi sauce, this is not it. It does, however, make a good 'diet' version of scampi sauce. I don't know what happened to the shirataki noodles that were stored with this product....all I know is that precious few of the noodles were in noodle form the next day (not week).

Really needs more garlic flavor to it. Add some minced garlic & some mushrooms to give it a better zip and taste.

First of all I must mention that they shipped this overseas, to a military member. Wow that was awsome, and just great. Alot of vendors will not deliver to us, and when they don't ship to military boxes (APO boxes); it just makes us miss home in the states; even more. But when you do ship to an APO box, it's like a piece of home just arrived in the mail; and you feel less excluded. I love this sauce, it taste great. I used it with the Mircale Noodles, and it was very tasty. I really like the Afredo sauce, and the Herb & Garlic sauce is excellent. This really taste good, and it's awsome because it has less calories. And it helps a military member enjoy eating the foods I like, with out worrying about my waist line expanding. Yeah.... Bring on that PT test, and then after a plate of Alfredo.

This stuff and the alfredo sauce is NASTY! I am a lifetime dieter so I can pretty much eat cardboard and think it is okay, but this stuff is just icky.

Only used it once and was not thrilled at all. Sooooo bland and I can definitely handle bland but this is not worth it at all.

Also ich experimentiere ja gerne mal, und mache gerne Abstriche wenn man weiß es soll keine Kalorien haben, und da ist nunmal Chemie die Alternative, aber was hier angeboten wird, ist furchtbar !!!

Perfect ultra low-calorie product, great with mixed veg and Slim Pasta for lunch or meal replacement.

My jar arrived broken and taped up, which subsequently broke again. Had to throw it away as I couldn’t guarantee no glass in the sauce that I had saved. No opportunity to apply for refund or replacement. Won’t by again

Tastes very watery and awful. Unfortunately for me I had to bin it immediately after my first taste , along with the pasta....

This sauce is very very garlicky. It's good to use sparingly but not for the only sauce on your pasta as it's too pungent.
