When it comes down to finding the right protection for my watch, ArmorSuit MilitaryShield is my go to brand. Why? Not only are their screen protectors durable and reliable, they also offer some of the best protection for any type of device you have. For the Apple Watch in particular, their screen protector leaves your whole display covered from edge to edge. Their screen protector is designed so that every part of your watch gets the protection that it deserves. Wet application can be a tad bit tedious, but the results are definitely worth the time invested into it. Installing the screen protector on a watch that has curved edges could prove to be a little tricky. The key to applying the protector on perfectly is getting the flat surface to stick onto the watch first. Once that is done, I waited for about 15 minutes for the edges to get tacky. Once they are tacky, then I would press the edges down with my fingers. I remembered to spray my hands with solution before doing this, and found that it really helped in applying the screen protector successfully. I realized that using too much solution will not help the edges stick, so this was the best solution that worked for me. They recommend allowing the protector to dry overnight, which is exactly what I did. However, I was still extra careful with it the first couple of days just as an extra pre-caution because I didn’t want my newly installed protector to come off so easily. Afterwards my screen protector dried clear and it was almost like there was nothing on my watch! It is truly invisible. I am very grateful to have stumbled upon this product, and will continue to use this brand for any future protection I may need for my devices.

I haven’t really been a fan of this style screen protector for my devices for a while now. You know the fancy stretchy plastic that self heals and keeps helicopter blades scratch free. Ever since glass screen protectors came out I haven’t looked back because I like the feel of glass and those plastic ones sometimes left an orange peel effect over the screen. However when looking for a screen protector for my first Apple Watch(3), the glass protectors didn’t have great reviews so I decided to try this one at least as temporary protection for my watch. So I followed the directions and installed the first protector in the pack. It is a wet install with a little bottle of soapy water and a rubber squeegee. Install was fairly easy and I was surprised how it almost effortlessly wrapped around the curved glass of the watch. The problem was that the install wants you to get out the air bubbles and let it sit before pressing down the sides. In this time I must have got some lint or dust that made bubbles in the protector making it look bad. I decided to redo with a fresh install and instead of leaving it out with the sides up, I used a warm hair dryer to help the drying process and pressed down the sides while using the warm air to help it begin to stick. It seems to have worked well as I think I have a near perfect install free of bubbles lint or dust. You can barely tell the protector is on by just looking at it and I think it actually looks great. I see no degradation in the screen resolution due to the protector and a very limited orange peel effect that is only noticeable at certain angles with a lot of light like can be seen in my pictures. While the protector feels good to slide my finger over you do feel that slightly more tacky and rubbery feel of thenprotector as compared to the glass. For the trade off of some scratch and bump protection I am personally more than willing to use this. I did ready one review of this protector that said the sides peeled up after washing their hands a lot. I am a compulsive hand washer and rarely get my watches wet enough to cause these issues so I’ll have to see if I experience anything like that in which case I’ll update my review. For the price and the protection of my new pricy device I really am impressed with the screen protector so far. The feel isn’t quite glass but it isn’t bad at all and not nearly enough to remove a star. I can easily recommend this if you’re looking for protection for your new Apple Watch.

Update: 7/25...so after repeated changing of cases the edges of the screen guard did come off a bit and gradually got some dust stuck on it. So i removed the case and placed the second screenguard in the package. I still like and now im using my watch case free. I will try another case which maybe stays a bit on the outside and doesn't push off the screen guard. We will see. If not, ill just stay caseless as it looms better that way anyway. But no issues with the screen guard surface tho, handles bumps and minor scratches like a champ but I'm pretty careful with the watch anyway. Still highly recommended and the best in the market! I recently bought an aluminum 42 mm apple watch and immediately saw videos showing how easily it can get scratched. I started looking for tempered glass optiona but because of the curves edges none of them gave full coverage. So i compromised on this one. But i gotta say, i am very happy with it so far. The order included two protectors, a squeegee, a microfiber cloth, and liquid spray for wet install and instruction pamhplets. The protectors are made to perfectly fit onto the watch and doesn't leave any spot uncovered on the screen including the edges. The installation is not difficult but you have to be sure to follow the instructions properly. It took me abt 15 mins. Watch the video tutorial in the link they provide. It is a wet installation and you should allow it some hours to sit after you place the protector so it stays put. You can't even tell that the protector is on the watch unless you pull the watch right upto your eyes which is great! If you install it properly you will NOT get any bubbles, and even if you do most will disappear in a few days. If they don't this protector is easily reinstallable with the fluid adhesive spray provided. DO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER! An important note for people using apple watch CASES, let the screen protector stay on for a few days before attempting to put cases on the watch. I read a lot of complaints from other buyers saying the case pulled out the screen protector. So I decided to wait some days after installing the protector before putting on the case. And the protector is holding up fine. I do take care a bit while pulling out the case, and on occasion it has slightly pushed the protector off but it is hardly noticeable and easily stays on after pushing it down. There are very few dust particles set on the edges but they are on the outside of the edges, not under the protector, so you can wipe them off easily. As far as scratching goes, i haven't had any scratches so far but I haven't really banged it or dropped as i am pretty careful with watches in anycase. There was a very minor scratch once and the self healing tech seemed to work fine and it has disappeared now. If any major scratches occur, i will update this review to see how the protector handles it. Overall, i am certain this is the best screen protector available for the apple watch right now. Unless they can build a tempered screen glass protector with full coverage that stays put around the edges, this is the BEST bet you have. So buy it now!

** update ** Customer support contacted me and they are sending me a replacement for free. Very happy with their support so far. I am going to apply with their new instructions, which I will post below. "Please kindly note that since the screen protector covers the whole screen, the edges of the screen protector may take a little more time to adhere since it is a wet installation process. Here is a little tip that might be helpful: The screen protector must first dry and become tacky for 5-15 minutes or you can always expedite the process by safely using a hair dryer on Cool Mode/Low Heat and gently use the palm of your hand to place pressure on the lifting edge. The Cool-to-Warm air will help the adhesive stick better to your device. Please do not use direct heat on the device for more than 10 seconds. After this short waiting period, spray your pointer finger with solution and press one edge down making sure that it aligns perfectly to the edge. Now do the same for the side of the watch that is perpendicular to the first side that was pressed down. If you notice that your screen is off alignment, it should still be wet enough for you to slide it across the surface to fix it. Proceed with the remaining two edges. If the edges are too wet, they will not stick to the curved edges of the display. Once the screen has completely dried, it will look crystal clear. Almost like there is nothing on the device at all!" Previous submission: I am writing a new review on this product because both of my screen protectors began peeling on then corner several days after applying. I was very happy with this while it was working properly, but I will not be buying another based on my experience. I do use a bumper case over the screen, which I applied after 24 hours to let the screen protector fully stick to the screen. I spent 20 minutes applying the protector and made sure I had rubbed down the corners thoroughly. I wish this had stuck better because it does a very good job while it is correctly applied to the watch.

My wife and I bought each other an Apple Watch for Christmas. Not wanting the watch faces to be scratched, we looked for a watch screen protector. We have Zagg screens on all of our Apple products (iPads, iPhones, etc.) and initially determined to go that route again. But we weren't happy with our options; we wanted a screen protector that would handle the rounded watch face edges without adding any faux color to the native color(s) of the Apple Watch (mine is space gray, hers is gold). After looking online for top-recommended screen protectors it seemed like ArmorSuit received the greatest accolades and praise. We pulled the trigger on the screen protectors for my 42mm Watch and her 38mm Watch--and we couldn't be happier. I read the negative, one-star reviews from disgruntled customers (and worried a little) but I want to go on record to say that one can buy the ArmorSuit MilitaryShield for the Apple Watch with confidence! I read the instructions and watched the application video repeatedly. I also watched others do the install on YouTube. (Of course, I have seen Zagg Store employees apply my other screen protectors, too.) Everything applied and sealed perfectly and precisely. I had no trouble whatsoever--even though I am a perfectionist and don't want lint or dust or ripples or imperfections of any kind on my screen protectors. I can't speak for those who post negative reviews but I took my time and found everything to work beautifully. My wife's 38mm screen protector covers more "glass" than what my 42mm screen protector covers. In fact, my wife's watch face is completely protected. My watch face has a few millimeters left uncovered. But I don't believe ArmorSuit currently produces a Series 2 42mm protector yet. I would love to see one soon that will cover the Series 2 42mm surface area and will gladly purchase a new screen protector. But until that time, this is an excellent product. I didn't think I would "convert" to anything other than Zagg but ArmorSuit has a new dedicated customer. For the price, and considering the fact that there are two shields included, this product is a steal.

ArmorSuit MilitaryShield really strives to make sure that your device is protected from edge to edge, leaving as little of the front surface of the glass display vulnerable to opposing forces that could cause damage. My purchase of the Apple Watch is an extremely valuable one and I wanted to be sure that it is completely protected. So I purchased their shield because it covers the WHOLE glass display, including the curved edges. While applying the screen protector onto the device, I noticed that if the edges are too wet, they will not stick to the curved edges of the display. So the following was done in order to have a successful application. First, after I sprayed both sides of the screen protector and my fingers, I applied the screen protector onto the watch’s flat surface and make sure the protector is sitting on a right position. Secondly, I allowed the screen protector to sit on the device for about 5-10 minutes in order to allow the edges to get “tacky.” After this short waiting period, I pressed one side down making sure that it aligns perfectly to the edge. The same was then done for the side of the watch that was perpendicular to the side that was originally pressed down. I noticed that my screen was slightly off alignment, but it was still wet enough for me to slide it across the surface to fix it or you can just lift it back up and do step one again until u like it. After fixing the alignment, I proceeded with the remaining two edges. Once the screen has completely dried, it looked crystal clear. It looked like there was nothing on the device at all! When it comes to protecting my devices, I will always choose ArmorSuit.

I was helping to move a heavy video arcade machine while wearing my Apple Watch, and the weight shifted causing me to smash my hand/wrist against a wall while carrying the game. A bit later is when I noticed the scratches deep into the corner of my watch face...and yes it was fairly new so I was a bit horrified at what I'd just done. However, luckily I had just bought and installed this MilitaryShield not two days earlier. While I know these things can self heal (I used to have one on my iPhone), this accident was a little too rough so the scratches were to deep to resolve. Happily, I just peeled the protector off my watch and it was perfect underneath...thus this purchase has already paid for it self over 1000X's in two days of ownership. The bonus here is that this pack comes with two Shields, so I'm back in business like nothing ever happened. A big shout out to ArmorSuit folks for this protector...clearly works as stated and saved my watch! I wish I had though to take a few pics when it happened, but was more concerned with the watch face underneath to think about it...if it happens again, I'll document with photos! FYI, not the simplist to install, but follow instructions (and youtube) and it goes on perfectly...just wet your fingers and the watchface good, then postition, squeege, line up and let dry for 10-15 mins before pressing and sealing the edges to the watch...then you'll never even know it is on there!

My original review is below. This is my 2 week update. I had to remove the first one. It was coming off, bubbling up in a corner, and I couldn't fix it by applying some more liquid (I know you have to give it a little time to get tacky before pressing down the edges), it looked horrible. I didn't see any self-healing of marks on the screen protector as well. I just installed the 2nd one. Time will tell from this application, it looks good and was perfectly installed, but if I had to do it all over again, for the same money I would have purchased one of the packages that comes with 6 screen protectors at almost the same price. I have always found these screen protectors to be very similar in quality regardless of who sells it when I bought them for my iPhones and iPads. I say to buy the 6 pack because if I need another protector, Armorsuit will send only 1 more under warranty, at a shipping cost to me of $1.99. I don't know if these watch protectors last as long as the ones on my other i-devices, but if I need to replace this one again, I'm buying someone else's highly rated 6 pack. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have bought other Armorsuit screen protectors in the past for some of my other i-devices, I was always satisfied. I put it on following the instructions, it went on just the way you would expect if you followed their directions. The thing that ruins it for me is that I use a bumper case, and even though I left enough time for the protector to dry, and gave it extra time because of what I read about the corners of the protector coming up and needing extra drying time, the corners did come up for me when carefully putting on the case. With all the cautions that I took, if I couldn't do it, then nobody can. One edge came up when the bumper case was put on, and that's really all you need to not be satisfied with the screen protector. I would have given it 1 star, but I might have been happy with the screen protector if I didn't use a case. It went on fine, and looked fine, until the case went on. I wish I could find one that doesn't cover the entire screen and just covers the flat part.

Really happy with these screen protectors, much better than the tempered glass ones we’ve used previously. Easy to fit if you’re patient and follow the instructions. Have lasted well so far (4 weeks). Feels good on the watch and is invisible.

Following the video, goes on easy and looks good when it’s on. The cover wraps the around the screen curve. Problem is that it started pealing at the corner after a few days. Ended up having to replace the first cover with the spare. The new cover lasted about a week, then it started peeling on the side (not the corner this time). I reapplied the spray liquid and then used a dryer to push the protector back into place. This worked for about another week. The cover then started lifting at both the corner and the side. Vendor was good, sent a replacement kit, but I would not recommend the product. Frustrating to have to reapply covers every week (my last cover lasted over a year, I replaced it because of a light scratch).

Great protection for my watch

Protects well initially... but despite following instructions to the T... corners NEVER stay on properly and after a few weeks are collecting all kinds of grime and dirt. Having to remove prematurely to protect watch from getting scratched.
