ComFy Mat Puzzle Exercise Mat, EVA Foam Interlocking Tiles, Protective Flooring for Gym & Workouts, 10mm thick

I purchased 4 of these flooring mats to protect the carpet in my spare room when I turned it into my exercise room during lockdown. I actually think these would be superb for use as wall-to-wall flooring - the thickness feels just right to me, with enough give for comfort and enough sturdiness to durability - but they just don't really work well for my needs. I didn't realise that the underside was smooth; I had assumed there was enough texture for it to 'grip' on whatever it sat on. Not at all. In fact, particularly when I'm doing yoga, the squares travel...a LOT. I'm constantly moving it all back to the right position on the floor. The jigsaw edges also tend to come off when it moves. Also, the jigsaw edging isn't uniform - for example, I tried to configure as 1 x 3 but the edging wouldn't fit one of the sides. As a 2 x 2 the size is just right for my needs. But since it's on carpet, the 4 3M sticky circles are of no use and not sure they'd work on hard flooring, they're pretty small for the overall size of the 2 x 2. Finally, a warning to cat owners: keep the door closed! My cat likes these mats better than his scratching post! I would have returned these mats if my cat hadn't gotten to them first!

I bought this matting for use in a home gym I have created in my garage. It is only just down but I suspect I may be replacing it in the summer as I am not sure about its durability. If you are purchasing this for use in a Childs play room then I would say it is absolutely perfect! My main grumble with it is that it came with a film of grease or oil over the surface. This may have been a release agent from the mould. However, it is incredibly difficult to remove and until you have managed to do that, it is not the easiest to do workouts on.

My local gym was closed due to Covid, then when they reopened getting booked on anything was a nightmare so decided to setup a gym in my garage. Bought 2 packs of these in different colours to create a chequerboard effect. The tiles were easy to fit (6 x 4 layout) the only difficulty being locating the correct edging piece - there are 2 slightly different ones - if you pick the correct one then no cutting involved. Have used it 3-4 times so far and is working well. Have some concern that edging may fray or damage with use and also that weights may dent it, but so far no issues and looking good.

These tiles came 3-4 days early which was great for me to sort out my flooring before I fit out the rest of my garage gym.They connected easy and stayed together over the varying texture and bumps on the floor, there isn't one tile with any of its puzzle connection popping up. I marked and cut them with scissors with no real precision or effort and they came out great.Will be getting more to finish the garage off, honestly the price isn't bad for what you get, and the size of the tiles is just right for spaces like my garage.

I ordered the grey 80sqft option and it came promptly. The foam is excellent quality and it is ideal for a gym floor. Why didn't I give it 5*? I got 6 tiles that were a slightly different colour grey to the rest of the pack- just a small issue though as it doesn't really bother me and I would buy it again.

Was really happy with how quickly the mats arrived. They were in good condition, soft and definitely reduce the noise and impact on my wooden flooring. However, these are dangerous for exercise (at least on wooden flooring). They are NOT non-slip. They do come with some stickers which stick really well to my floor but the mats just slide right off off of them. Even doing only upper body work for combat where I don't take my feet off the ground they move considerably. The mats also come apart very easily when doing jumping jacks or even downward dog in yoga. Unfortunately I've had a couple of falls with them.

These are actually better than I thought. They are very light, but that’s means they are soft to touch, but still thick enough to put weight on and not damage the floorI’ve just ordered more.
