Wagner's 82056 Gourmet Waste Free Wild Bird Food, 5-Pound Bag

Birds love it. Nonstop birds on my feeder. I didnt notice much... so called dust. ...There was Some. But hardly enough to care. Did Not notice any kind of bugs in it?

This the best bird seed for wild birds with little mess but know you will attract other animals like squirrels, raccoons, and deer. I hang mine on the outside of my fence near the woods so I can see it from the back of my home

Previously, I gave the Waste Free a 5 star review. I'm now downgrading that a bit. For several years we used Wagner's Gourmet Wast Free Wild Bird seed and our birds were thrilled (same goes with their sunflower seeds). But, eventually I realized that we were being eaten out of house and home. We switched, with some trepidation, to Tractor Supply's store brand, Wild Wings for 1/4 - 1/3 the cost. And lo and behold, the birds love it just as well. So while Wagner's is convenient, it's only a few miles to Tractor Supply for a 20 lb bag that costs just a bit more than the 5 lb. Wagner's bag.

No mess and birds love it!

I am the most popular house in our neighborhood. The birds love coming to my house and love this bird seed mix. I love having the birds come and visit.

Too much hard corn and peanuts too big, birds left them or kicked out of the tray. Even mourning doves wouldn't eat them. The other seeds they loved. I cleaned out all the corn and large nuts before filling the feeder. I trashed the corn but kept the nuts and ground them into very small pieces. I then sprinkled it into the mix in the tray and then they ate them. It was nice that it's not just peanuts but also pine nuts and other tree nuts. If you don't mind doing that or if you find you have some birds that will actually eat that hard corn, I would say it's a good product and worth it but it's a bit of work for you and the extra weight of the corn, as it is quite a bit, I've decided to buy the seeds and nuts I want and make my own mix for the birds. Wagner does make the best NYJER seed birds seem to love that more than other Niger seed it is more expensive than the others but if you want to watch your goldfinch, go crazy eating out of the feeders. I would recommend that for sure. I'm just a little disappointed in this product. AlthoughI'm happy I found a way to make it work for the birds.

The birds and squirrels love this food and no waste or weeds sprouting in my flower beds like other bird seeds. Attracts a wide variety of birds. High quality food.
