Easy to mix in with foods

Ok.. I love my flax seed.. I am hooked. I also am new to using it.. I have had wheat germ before.. But I think I prefer this more. I made blueberry muffins ..added some flax seed to the batter ..also a bit on top..it was just the right flavor..added almost a nut flavor.I liked it more so ..because it's milled.. That it's fine and will also be great in smoothies and topping yogurt..can't wait to try it... It has alot of good health benefits. If anything... It tastes good. Not a bad price .I will purchase again!

I have taken Flax Seed for many years. Mostly used the Trader Joe's product. I ran out of Trader Joe's, and was in grocery store...bought this brand (much more expensive, but didn't want to make a second trip to TJ's) Well, the difference in product was extraordinary. I noticed it immediately. I put it in yogurt, and the taste was amazing, and it looked brighter. I started looking at the ingredients, etc. This product is organic AND COLD MILLED. TJ's is not COLD milled. That is probably this difference. I'm paying more and buying this brand from now on. They also have boxes of individual packets, which I buy for when I'm on travel. I had a Natural Path Doctor tell me years ago that Flax Seed taken daily can prevent many cancers.

I discovered Cold Milled Flax Seed years ago, after an expensive trip to the vet with a constipated cat. Problem solved. My one issue is that the packaging doesn't clearly state that it's not whole seeds. It's rather messy, being sliced/ground like it is. Also, being ground it has more of an aroma. But I'm sprinkling it in my rescued boy's food and he's eating it, so mission accomplished.

Truth be told, I actually ordered the milled flax on accident(I normally grind mine as needed), but I am truly impressed with the care taken to help ensure maximum nutritional value! For those who may not be aware, flax benefits from being kept in a lightproof container for storage; this is doubly the case when already ground. The packaging from Carrington Farms is *perfect*; a smooth-working resealable bag that is completely lightproof! Of course the contents are what truly matter though, and this being my first time purchasing any products from Carrington Farms I can safely say I will be repurchasing in the future. Even though it is pre-milled, the flax I received was delightfully fresh with that wonderfully light-yet-nutty flavor that the nutritional powerhouse known as flax should have.

Taste great

I didn't think that something that is supposed to be good for you could taste so great. Has an awesome nutty flavor. Added to yogurt or oatmeal it helps control blood sugar levels and helps keep me going, especially on those cold winter days. I noticed that I go longer in-between my meals without feeling hungry after a couple of hours. Recommend this to anyone who wants to eat healthy and for helping regulate blood sugar levels naturally.

I'm particular about flaxseed, but found this one to be very good. Nice flavor, too. Flaxseed (milled) is super healthy, so I always put it on my oatmeal and Greek yogurt with frozen fruit.. sweeten with Stevia. I even put some on cold cereal, and it gives it a smooth, nutty flavor that I really like. I have tried several brands, but will reorder this one.
