Bulldog Nose Butter, Versatile Dog Nose Balm to Reduce Dryness, Handcrafted Moisturizer, Easy-to-Apply, 1 oz.

Got this to use on our GSD's nose as one side keeps getting rough and raw. After using this for two weeks, her nose is healing and she's not rubbing it or constantly licking it anymore. She's not the biggest fan of having her nose cleaned and then this applied, but as long as we distract her after application with a dental chew, it gives the nose butter enough time to soak in so it doesn't get licked or rubbed off. I've actually used this on the psoriasis on my hands, and it has worked wonders with that. (We use popsicle sticks to scoop out the nose butter for application so it doesn't get contaminated with germs or other yuck.) This also is great for paw pads. I now wish we hadn't purchased just the 1 ounce size as this stuff is wonderful. It absorbs very quickly and doesn't leave dog paws (or my hands) greasy at all, which considering the ingredients is a shocker itself. Next time we purchase this it'll be two bigger containers - one for the dog and one for me!

Night and day difference after a couple days of using it

i am a new frenchie mom, so the dry chafing nose was kind of alarming at first until I started doing my research and learned that that is what their Bri goes through. So first I tried 100% Shea butter which did the trick as far as moisturizing goes, however it being so thick caused it to stayed on his nose for a very long time! he hated it and would attempt to rub it off repeatedly! So then my neighbor told me about nose butter, and I have been in love with it since it’s not too thick it moisturizes very well. His nose looks a lot better and he doesn’t try to rub it off. It doesn’t stay on all day like the 100% Shea butter, he strongly disliked! We are now fans of nose, butter, and I am placing another order as we speak!

Our dog has been having a dry nose and we are try to put the nose butter on at least twice a day. Dogs do not like you messing around their face and when we are able to cover her nose with the Nose Butter she will lick any extra from our fingers but her nose looks much better. We hope the Nise Butter softens her nose.

We have a small Bolognese. Sometimes he gets a dry nose, and it gets kind of hard and rough. So we purchased this to fix it. It works. His nose is now soft, smooth, and not dry. I don't remember exactly how long it took for it to work, but I want to say it didn't take long. Also, you only need to use a little bit for it to work. So this tiny container actually lasts longer than you'd expect. It's a great product. It fulfills its purpose. 5 stars.

But I just had to take the time to chime in on this product. This stuff honestly worked like a miracle, there's just no other way to put it. My English Bulldog's nose has been dry since she's been about 2yr old(she's now 7). She's been living with my parents, and on a recent visit I found that it had gotten AWFUL. It looked absolutely painful and I felt terrible about it, knowing that it was far beyond what could be dismissed as a dry nose. As you'll see in the picture, it was severely cracked with deep ridges. I ordered this product hoping to relieve any discomfort that it might have been causing her, but not necessarily expecting it to help with the terrible appearance of her nose. Within 3 days of applying the nose butter twice a day, the dry and dead tall pieces on her nose began to fall off during application, and by the 7th day(today) of twice a day use, she has a brand new nose! It's now soft and smooth, and so much healthier looking. I'm so relieved and so very glad I found this product. Don't think twice about trying this, your dog will thank you!

Seems to do an okay job of being a barrier for dry cracking and scabbing in corners of nose due to snot crusting, don't expect it to have any medicinal use, it just doesn't, it's not antiseptic or have any healing properties other than just creating a clean barrier if used daily. It's not like a barrier product that has any neosporin type of actual healing qualities. It's better than many, but not curative. My dachshund is 14 y.o. and has begun getting crust buildups in the back corners of his nose that build up every couple of days, warm wet cloth cleaning followed by a generous application to cover the sensitive skin areas where the crust builds up, minimum every other day, try to keep up every day has helped keep the new sensitive areas under the crust buildups from staying nearly raw, as a moistener and barrier but with no medicating qualities.

A little goes a long way! This nose butter works amazing. The oils absorb really well. Especially if you can keep your pup busy for a few minutes while it sets in (otherwise they will try licking it off) Truly works great.

I was noticing a little bit of dryness and scaly skin around the border of my Aussie's nose, so I went in search of a nose balm and found this. I am so glad I did. While I have to be honest that some patience is required, it's not because of the product, but the dog. It's a challenge to apply without your dog immediately licking it off after. I followed the company's advice of giving my dog something to chew on after so it has time to absorb, but since I didn't want to be feeding big treats constantly, I alternated between giving a long-lasting treat and massaging in the nose butter for a few seconds so it had a chance to absorb. I wasn't consistent with using this every day, so it took a few weeks, but my dog's nose is looking a million times better now, no dryness or flaky skin at all. This stuff will last forever, so I plan to keep using it once or twice a week going forward (as needed) so that the dryness doesn't have a chance to creep up again. If you're experiencing dry, scaly skin on your dog's nose, definitely give this a shot.

The nose butter helped my dog. Although, the tin lid would not open. Once I prayed it open and wrecked it, I now have to keep in a zip lock baggie. Other than that it’s great!

The absolute BEST nose butter i’ve used for my frenchies. My one frenchie always has had a really rough dry nose. This cleaned it up and made it better in literally 4-5 days after using (i put it in once or twice a day). I havent put it on in a month now and her nose is still looking good
