The sockets is fairly tight, so you really need to push the connector to mate. On mine I didn't feel the usual click, nevertheless the connections were made solid and both lines work great without any noise or sound degradation.

Okay, maybe I don't LOVE it, as it is only a phone splitter...But it looks exactly like it does online and does exactly what I hoped for...I now have 2 phone systems connected to one phone number...That's right...one new phone model which is corded and comes with 3 cordless phones...and a 2nd extra phone model which has a few cordless phones...I had to use the splitter on the base of the 2nd phone in order to get the cordless phones to work on the extra phone...A lot of people dont realize they could do that...A few of their cordless phones stop working and they dont realize they still can use the old one, along with the new system that they buy, even if there is only one or two cordless phones left, as long as they still have the base to plug in...to this phone splitter...actually there are 2 phone splitters, which I like, just in case something ever goes wrong...but I dont expect it to...I have it plugged into the back of my Canon Printer fax machine which then connects to my 2nd/extra phone...Glad I could do so much with such a small purchase!

The 2-pack of cables was very reasonably priced and delivered quickly. I needed a splitter to add a second phone system to a digital phone modem supplied by my TV cable company. It did the trick!

These work great for land line in office with 2 phones.

This is a great product. I bought it because I was replacing one of those single-unit solid phone splitter/joiners. That single piece unit kept falling out of the RJ11 female wall jack; the Y-shaped plastic just wasn't formed right. Since this uses a traditional RJ11 male jack with a cord coming out, it fit right in and clicked in snugly. As a bonus, it is a 4-wire 2-line RJ11. That's increasingly hard to find; most phone jacks now are for a single phone line. This of course can be used if you have a single line but for those of you with two lines this unit will work for that. And, there were two splitter/joiners in the bag, so you can use this two different places. There's really nothing bad to say about this, so it's an obvious 5 stars from me.

I’m so glad it came with two in a pack! Because one of them are not working at all. I brought this for work. Try to connect phone line with it, so the caller ID will show on the computer. I’m surprised one of them are not working. So happy they come with 2 in a pack, otherwise I have to wait couple days for purchase a new one. They need to check the product before they mail it.

I received two of the same. Both of them fit well into my telephone socket. I was wondering why it came in a pair when I only needed one. It soon occured to me that the second one was to accommodate a second telephone in case I needed an extension in another room! Well engineered with no wobble when connected The tight fit made sure the telephone cord did not come loose easily. For a cheap gizmo, it certainly improved office convenience.

Item as described, delivered with my amazon subscription. Installed and working. Thankful to have this for my mother who still has a landline and now can have answering machine.

The product is great, but amazon delivered it to the wrong house again.

Was very happy to find them as not an item in stores and kind of specialized because most people don't have landlines anymore. Only mobile phones.
