I think I found my last hair coloring product!
I have been using Naturtint for several years and recently decided to try Reshma Henna given the more natural henna product. Much superior longevity, no scalp tingling. Much easier to use by simply adding water and not some strange "developer" liquid. Unused powder can be easily put away and used as needed. My wife and I share one box each time. I was skeptical and concerned that I would end up with red hair as typical with henna (I use the brown/black color). The color is exactly as advertised and stays that way as it fades. No strange hues, just good old grey hair returns as it fades. Comforting to know it is a natural henna product and no harsh chemicals. Scalp feels great. Not to mention it is a great price.

Sent me to the ER, this is not true henna-contains PPD Allergen
Marketed as natural henna, but this product sent me to the ER!!! I had used it twice before with no issues, but on the third application I developed severe burning and itching on my scalp that would not stop after 3 days — I had to be treated in the emergency room and given medication to get it under control. It also irritated my eye, leaving it completely red. Checking the ingredients, this product contains PPD (para-phenylenediamine), a known chemical allergen and skin sensitizer that is NOT part of true, pure henna. Sensitization to PPD is cumulative — reactions often don’t show up until repeated exposure, which matches exactly what happened to me. If this were genuinely 100% henna as advertised, it would not contain PPD at all.

Great Product!
Reshma Henna is a wonderful product. It's easy to use, doesn't take a lot of time, isn't messy, and is affordable! A couple of years ago, agood friend gave me a box a to try. I loved it and have been a fan ever since. The only thing is that I can't get it in Canada (Amazon Canada doesn't carry it) so I have to get it from Amazon USA and pay the duty on it. I hope they get it in Canada soon!
