These do their job perfectly. I notice no difference to the sound compared to the original cable.I am not rating these 5 stars because:The cable is quite thick and stiff (compared to all my other headphones) which probably makes it more durable but also means it tends to have a specific resting position that isn't always where I would like it.The 3.5mm jacks themselves seem slightly loose. Compared to my previous headphone cable and compared to a few other pairs I have, these ends seem a bit loose. More than once I had the cable running up the inside of my jacket and I pulled the cable from my headphones when I moved my head too much. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great cable for the price *by K***H on Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2016* Volkswagen decided to locate the aux jack for my car in the glove box (go figure). As a result I have to close the glove box door and pinch my audio cable in the glove box door to use the AUX audio port. It is obnoxious and tends to wear out the cable AND bend the little 3.5mm prongs. I purchased this because it looked fairly tough in the product descriptions...The cable itself feels pretty thick and robust, although I have only had it for one day. If anything changes I will come back and edit this post. The prongs are reinforced with a metal jacket that can also be unscrewed... this is very nice as this is my first cable that has resisted bending by my glove box door. There also seems to be less interference when my phone charger is connected = less hissing in the speakers.Overall I am happy with my purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This May be the best Cable Out There *by Z***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2016* Okay, I needed a cable that would plug into my iPhone when it had the protective case on it. That was my initial motivation for selecting this cable (note the narrow piece just before the connector). However, this cable is made of a very pliable material which makes it easy to roll and pack for when I need to take it to a job or some such place. I have two other cables which do not flex much when it's cold so they are now stay at home cables. Those cables, however, will soon be replaced with two more of these.
