Wasn't what I was looking for
I'm sure it is a great product for someone maybe looking at slides in a lab setting but barely highlighted any of my crystals that uv way better off the $10 urine searching one my mom has so to each its own just wasn't a good fit for me 🥰

Ideally be switched on for at least 15 min
Upon opening and reading the instructions, I learned that the lamp should ideally be switched on for at least 15 min at a time otherwise frequent on/off will reduce the life of the lamp. I find this a bit of a dilemma since the batteries last for 2 hours, and I tend to frequently on/off the lamp for quick TLC check. I think this is unsuitable for my use so I sent it back and got a full refund with no issue.

The long bar light on the side is the correct wavelength to illuminate ringworm! Highly recommend.
This helped diagnose my child's ringworm on the side of his face. The long blacklight bar on the side is the correct wavelength to cause ringworm to glow green; it has to be this wavelength in order to detect ringworm, other blacklight wavelengths will not work. Doctor confirmed it was indeed ringworm.

Useful at the lab
Using the product to read TLC plates, works pretty well as long as surroundings are somewhat dark. Very useful. 365 a bit weak.

Wasted money!
The light emitted is too dim to be of any use, even with brand new fully charged batteries.

Good beginner light on the short wave side
The Long wave part of this light is ok, but the short wave works really well for the price. Photo is an Idaho Opal using this light under short wave (background was edited out)

Does what is says, but designed at its price point
It functions as it claims. For what you're paying for a shortwave UV lamp, you can't expect it to be designed perfectly. The battery compartment is a bit funky on closing but again it functions.
