It seems they only last for about 8 years it does what it says on the tin, it looks the part and when British gas maintenance man came he was pleased we had bought this alarm ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Suitability for use. *by R***I on 12 September 2019* Despite giving this unit a high rating it was not suitable for the use for which is was bought. It was purchased to replace an out of date unit on a boat. When inspected by a surveyor from the Boat Safety Scheme it was failed because there was no BS kitemark on the unit. On further reading of the instructions it was noted that it stated it was only suitable for indoor domestic use. Perhaps if that information had been on the website I wouldn't have purchased the unit in error.
