This alarm is fantastic it replaces my last alarm that would not work after the expiry date printed on the side of my old alarm. It seems they only last for about 8 years it does what it says on the tin, it looks the part and when British gas maintenance man came he was pleased we had bought this alarm

Despite giving this unit a high rating it was not suitable for the use for which is was bought. It was purchased to replace an out of date unit on a boat. When inspected by a surveyor from the Boat Safety Scheme it was failed because there was no BS kitemark on the unit. On further reading of the instructions it was noted that it stated it was only suitable for indoor domestic use. Perhaps if that information had been on the website I wouldn't have purchased the unit in error. A suitable unit was sourced locally from Screwfix at a much lower price.

Difficult to review as no idea if works but very easy to read and assemble

I used and installed the carbon monoxide and smoke alarm in the house easy to install thoroughly recommend

Notera att tio-års-påståendet möjligen gäller sensorn (det står i det finstilta i handledningen). Batteriet får man byta i alla fall. Annars har enheten samma svaghet som andra motsvarande, man testar inte sensorn med testknappen, utan man testar larmsignalen.

Per chi ha camini o stufe a legna o pellet, bastano pochi euro e vi salvate da una intossicazione di monossido. Per fortuna non ha mai suonato, anche se ho sentito il suono perché ogni tanto la provo per controllare se funziona. Le batterie durano parecchio in quasi un anno e mezzo sono sempre buone (anche se ha suonato poco). Suono molto forte e fastidioso il mio cane abbaia quando la provo, si sente bene anche se siete distanti in un'altra stanza.
