It works well. I've watched a million YouTube videos that verify that, and I have found a little gold in my trips out to pan. Sadly this area is mostly flour gold, I wish I lived in an area that had a lot of nuggets! Anyway, it's a great pan and large, too. You can work a lot of material in just one if you are so inclined, it's much easier to do a quarter or half pan or so at a time. It does exactly what it's meant to do and it's very sturdy. Gold contrasts well against the green in the sun!

Great lightweight pan for getting into panning or having a backup. Showed up super fast and just needs a good soapy wash down and then a light roughing up before use so that your gold doesn’t slip away on the slick surface! You can rub a little sand or dirt into give it a little texture. That will help your results. Good luck!
