Still Have A VHS VCR
We have a number of VHS tapes which I have not converted to digital. At sometime in the future, we might begin converting these. Until then we can still view our VHS tapes on our newer model TV. The newer TV needs HDMI and the VCR output is component/composite using RCA cables. The conversion to HDMI from Easycell works without any issues. It is not being used for games. This works good for me.

Picture fuzzy
The video was fuzzy and would change back and forth from color to Black and white. The sound quality was good. I replaced it with a RCA to HDMI,AV to HDMI Converter,ABLEWE 1080P Mini RCA , this work well with my PS2

It works - with some caveats
I bought this adapter for the sole purpose of connecting a GameCube and Wii to my new equipment that lacks component input. I played a few hours of SSX 3 and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time on GameCube, and a few minutes of Okami on Wii. It does its job, and for the money I don't think you're going to do much better. Picture quality is fine overall. There are a few problems though. 1) The image is a bit on the dark side. Whites don't look all that white, and dark scenes can be very hard to see. This may be correctable if you mess with your TV settings a great deal, but I have this box on a switch that my TV can't tell apart from other inputs, so I don't want to mess with it too much. I find the darker image to be less than ideal, but I knew about it going in, and I feel like I can live with it. 2) There's no way of forcing it to output 4:3. This isn't (much) of a problem for my use case, and again, I knew about that going in. But you may have to manually force your TV to 4:3 when using this device if you have a 4:3 source. If these problems seem livable to you, I do recommend this adapter. If they don't, I have no better suggestions anywhere close to this price point at this time.

Worked perfectly right out of the box
I bought this converter after trying another highly rated converter which I could not get to work with my old Sony DVD/VCR unit. This one gave me a perfect, flicker free image from the movie stream as well as the menu images, unlike the other unit. I am connecting to the TV through a AV receiver as well. It just works as advertised!

Only C- for picture quality, but can't be beat for price
For the price, I'd say this is only an "OK" item. If you don't want to spend over $20-30, then this is it for you. After this, the price goes up to $150+ for an OSSC, but the quality and build are worth the price, as is the quality of video you output to your 4k TV. As is, this will get you by for those few times you want to play your old school game consoles.

Saves money versus buying an upscaling audio/ video system!
This product was perfect, exactly what I needed! Saved me a couple hundred dollars from buying an audio video system with a built-in upscaler.
D**!
It will not due audio through the computer you must hook wires directly to your speakers!
The video seems to be okay for the PS2 games I play on my computer! I ended up going an entire different route to achieve the same results! It would probably work fine with TV's!

Functions, but the are better options...
Poorer picture quality than the Anber-Tech device: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07JCDR32J/ref=sspa_mw_detail_6?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . I bought this one based on the reviews and was disappointed. I'm using if for playing a PS2 on a new Samsung 4K TV with only HDMI ports. Pictures are much darker with scattering black lines. The Anber-Tech device does it too, but to a lesser degree. I'll be returning this one.
