I severely sprained my ankle, messing up every ligament in my ankle. I have tried 5 or 6 different ankle braces. This one gave the most support and completely prevented ankle roll, but actually gave a little more flexibility front to back making it easier to walk more normally (this prevents new injuries caused by an awkward gait). My only issue was I was right between sizes small and medium. I bought the small and it is working well, but it took me 2-3 days to get it completely figured out so it wasn't too tight. There are 3 pads velcroed inside the inside ankle that were putting too much pressure on my ankle bone. When I took one off, it fit much better. I was even able to use the velcro pad inside my wrist brace which had a seam along my thumb that was bothering me. I have been wearing this brace day and night and only taking it off to shower. If you are worried about the price, don't hesitate to buy this brace. It works better than everything else and it is cheaper to buy one expensive brace rather than 5 or 6 cheaper braces in an attempt to get one that is comfortable and supportive and prevents re-injury.

Works great for my young volleyball player who had a high ankle sprain. She said it took a few times to master putting the brace on correctly. She says it's comfy as a hug and keeps her ankle from hurting.

These are worth every penny. My 12 year old son is notorious for rolling his ankles and literally did SO often(basketball, football, even baseball)before these braces. He wears them for every sport(on both annkles) and they’ve saved him countless times. You won’t regret this purchase. A bit confusing to put on at first but once you get the hang of it they’re great. He is about 5 feet tall and wears size 6.5 shoe and got size small and size S fit him perfectly. Not too bulky compared to others that offer this type of support.

I sprained my ankle (class 3, so pretty bad!) I read the reviews of a number of ankle braces, and I followed the advice of the guy who plays ultimate frisbee and bought this one. It was fantastic for getting back out running and hiking on uneven terrain while not re-injuring myself. Well worth the money. It does restrict range of motion a little, but that's also kind of the point. It does take a few steps to put on, but once you've done it a couple times it's a breeze. It really isn't reasonable to buy a product off the shelf that can be customized to you without having do a little of the customization for yourself. That is certainly the case here, but it's not an unreasonable amount at all.

After a month in a walking boot after a distal fibular fracture, I needed lateral stability for my transition back to regular shoes. My yard is uneven, rocky, and on a steep hillside so protecting my still-healing ankle is important! This brace is adjustable enough to accommodate swelling but still fits into most athletic shoes and sneakers with the laces loosened. There's two extra pads to put wherever you need them. I have them better the plastic cuff and the knob of my fibula where the fracture was. After about 5 hours of wearing the brace and walking/driving, it does become bothersome and uncomfortable, but that might be expected due to the swelling and bruising that is common with healing fractures. Other than the bulk in my shoe and the eventual discomfort, this brace is actually okay to wear. I have full range of motion and don't feel like it inhibits any flexion or extension, but limits lateral movement.

Although this brace seems solid and supportive my daughter was unable to use it because it was so bulky it did not fit into her basketball shoe (ordered smallest size). Ended up returning.

Hallo, die Zamst A2 DX ist meiner Meinung nach die aktuell ( Januar 2020) beste Sprunggelenksorthese am Markt. Leider werden in Deutschland den Patienten standardmäßig die Modelle von Aircast verordnet, welche in jeglicher Hinsicht schlechter abschneiden, vorallem im entscheidenden Bereich der Stabilisierung. Auch Bandagen von Rehband, McDavid und Aso bieten nicht den Komfort und die Stabilisierung des oberen Sprunggelenkes im Vergleich zur A2 DX. Zamst hat mit dieser Bandage ein Meisterstück entwickelt. Es stabilisiert wirklich!! u.a bei Zustand nach Pro - und! Supinationstraumen, kann in jedem Sportschuh angenehm getragen werden und ist für ca 55 Euro auch noch bezahlbar. Ich habe diese Bandage bereits an viele Freunde und Patienten vermittelt mit durchwegs nur positiver Rückmeldung. Topp Produkt!! Nicht verwunderlich das auch der NBA Spieler S. Curry dieses Model trägt

SALUTE - Zamst A2-DX A causa di una frattura scomposta ,al perone dx altezza malleolo, riparata con una osteosintesi, mi è stata prescritta una cavigliera bi-valva. La scelta è ricaduta su questa cavigliera, che da anche un sostegno in più grazie alle fasciature. Devo dire che la cavigliera è ottima, sono soddisfatta dell’acquisto. Si riescono a calzare le scarpe senza problemi, ovviamente ingrossa il piede; nel mio caso mi sono munita di un nuovo paio di scarpe da tennis n 39 , di solito porto il 38 ; ho fatto questa scelta, così che non stringesse troppo una volta indossata la scarpa. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo
