This is genuinely a hat I recommend for an old timer/farmer feeling. I will say, I feel like sweat will probably soak into the hat and it will whiten over time, that being said the vintage look kinda helps hide the sweat. The hat feels very breathable and it sits comfortably down the sides of the head riding right about the ear. A little pricey for a hat, but its hands down worth the extra money for a quality hat. I have a normal to normal- sized head and it fits well with no overlap of the snap buckle. **Q: I wear a 7 5/8 fitted cap will this fit or be too tight?** A: I also wear 7 5/8 in fitted hats. This cap is adjustable and fits great. One of my favorites. **Q: Size-how well would this fit someone with fairly large head?** A: For fitted hats, I wear size 7 1/2 - 7 5/8, depending on the brand.
