Review: Really awesome hearing protection - Tried these out for the first time on a tour in January. They held up great and absolutely did their job! If you take your time and follow the instructions on the video with the molding process everything will be just fine. Don’t settle for the first mold/seal. My left ear molded beautiful but had to remold my right ear. But just put it right back in the hot water and it molded beautifully the second time. *The key is to take your time* I can’t stress that enough. As for comfort they are okay. They fit way back in your ear canal and the rubber seems to be a little dry. They do take some getting used to put it’s not a deal breaker. The big thing for me is that they stay in the entire show and don’t break their seal or come out. I’m part of a very high energy show with lots of movement, jumping and singing and they stay in the entire time and don’t lose their seal like all other plugs I’ve tried of this type. They also do a great job of noise reduction with no ringing in my ears after a performance. Definitely a great buy and would purchase again.

**Q: Is there a huge difference between these and your normal nrr 31 buds?**
A: The outer ear piece is moldable to your ear.  They fit perfectly and I wear them somedays for 5-6 hours when I’m range training.  I’ve tried many different brands and styles.  These are the ones I choose to continue to use.

**Q: Are these good for motorcycle riding ?**
A: I use a set of the High Fidelity ones on my motorcycle even with a full face helmet.  The work well because I can still hear what going on around me..

**Q: Are these comfortable for extended wear?**
A: Jeff, I bought several varying g pairs of acoustic noise reducing ear protection pairs to figure out what would work best for my longer wearing occassions!! These, heat up and mold to your ear fairly nice enough...however, they are not comfortable for me longer than 1 hr. I found Decibal Armour are awesome for my needs! I own 3 sets!

**Q: Can I take out the outer plug and put an ear bud in it to use them as in ear monitors? also, going that far in, will the rubber piece get stuck?**
A: Sure, if you want to get the pieces stuck in your ear canal. If not, I don't recommend it.

If you need noise-cancelling earbuds, just buy a pack of one-use foam ones. The foam ones are easy to mold, cancel noise, and feel great-- unlike this piece of plastic. While it sounds cool to form your own ear pieces, it doesn't actually provide any additional protection. If you mold it wrong, you could actually damage your ears. I would especially not recommend this product for children or autistic people who have sensory processing difficulties. Overall, I would not consider buying these again or recommend this product to anyone I know.
