Perfect functionality
This spatula is great. It's thickness allows for greater flexibility, getting under and flipping delicate food without damaging it. It was also highly rated on ATK. I love it.

So good gonna buy a second one
Really happy with this spatula compared to others that I'm gonna pitch. This is perfect for use with my non-stick cookware. It's thin for easily sliding under foods and rigid enough to support substantial loads. Leaving this review on my way to ordering another one.

our go to spatula for nonstick and stick pans
this is a wonderful spatula. can't live without it. great for pancakes on nonstick or fish. use it all the time and would buy again if it broke.we have two in the kitchen now.keep it away from heating elements--we left one on an electric burner accidentally and the handle got melted. so that's how we tell the two spatulas apart now. melty and regular.

The Go-To Spatula in Our House
If you had told me six years ago, when we bought our first one of these, that I would be impressed enough with this kitchen utensil that I would want to write a review about it I would have thought you were crazy. But guess what? This spatula is absolutely deserving of a very positive review!By my way of thinking, there’s actually not a lot to say about a spatula. Again, it is a simple kitchen utensil. You flip stuff with it while you cook. You wash it. You store it.And this Matfer Bourgeat Exoglass® Pelton Spatula does all of that stuff really well. It is thin, but strong. So whether you’re cooking eggs or fish hash this spatula can get the job done. It is very heat and stain resistant, so after six years of use our first spatula (just got a second) is still in good - if a little worn - condition. (Truly only ordered the second one in order to reduce the times when that first one was still in the dishwasher...) Speaking of the dishwasher, again, it has held up very well after multiple washings a week for six years. And since it is thin, it stores very easily in our crowded kitchen utensil drawer. As the title indicates, this utensil is the preferred spatula in our household - hands down. And as funny as it may seem for such a simple tool, we can highly recommend it for your kitchen too! Hope you enjoy!!

Almost pretty good... but
One of those kitchen tools you want to use because it visually appears worthy, suggests useful. "Sorta', Kinda'" is the reality. Flexible, but not stable. Oddly, food often sticks to the leading edge, yet in other instances (flipping pancakes as an example), it's too slick - unpredictable where the pancake might land, always a feeling you're not in control of the flip, and you're not! I've never gained confidence while using it, very unlike most noteworthy tools in the kitchen. Most annoying is the semi-curve design shape added to its lightness, it doesn't "rest" in any position, edge of a plate or a skillet, nor anywhere it's laid down. Often falls or slips, even onto the floor.Food sticking to the leading edge - I've tried buffing it with ultra-fine sandpaper... to no avail. Likewise tried a buffing wheel (used for polishing metal objects.) Neither solved the problem. Food still sticks.I'm at a loss to understand ATK's product recommendation. (Then again, not the first time an ATK recommendation left doubt, i.e., "what were they thinking?")
