Wooden Handle Craft, Jewelers Hammer, Two Sided,
This hammer works as described. Well crafted, have used several times without any issues. The hammer is well made, a good size handle, and quite sturdy. I like the look of the craft hammer as well as the price.

Great tool
This has been fun and easy to use. It has given me the freedom to create what every metal words I want in my art or scrapbook projects. It is light so anyone will be able to use this tool with ease. I does the job it needs to do. This is a great tool to add to your supplies if you like to make a variety of projects and like to set no limits on your creativity.

Low cost but nicely performing non-marring hammer
If you have need to use either a plastic or rubber light-weight hammer, this very low cost hammer is working well for me. I needed to round out a ring and used the sizing stick I also bought at Amazon as a form and it worked great! This is a very light weight hammer and certainly has limited use for forming lightweight jewelry, wire or sheet-metal, but for those purposes it does work well. 4 stars, mine is holding up reasonably well, you can tell the goal here was to be low cost and not highly refined as the fit and finish is mid-range, but hey for a couple bucks, what can you really expect!

Perfect Size, Love The Plastic-Rubber Material & Quality!
This Beadsmith plastic-rubber hammer is the perfect size for all kinds of projects. It is easy to use and I dont stress about damaging anything with the softness of the plastic rubber options. If you are working with leather or jewelry then this is the perfect hammer option for you. I highly recommend this hammer for anyone looking at getting one.

Perfection at it's finest
This is exactly what we had hoped for and it was not going to be used for jewelery. We needed to replace our sons toy hammer with a better one for his lego's. This being a jeweler hammer with a soft rubber and plastic head it works perfectly and will last much longer then the cheap toy hammers for children. We are very pleased. We had looked through the toy section of Amazon and couldn't find a toy hammer that would survive the test of time. This is perfect.

mine was made OK but it is very lightweight and I don't find it the easiest to use
I bought this for working with wire. I am new at wire working (so please take this review from a beginner's perspective). I also bought a much heavier metal hammer and I like the metal one a lot more. This one is OK for some things, though. It will get used occasionally. Mine was in fine shape. The head was on evenly, the handle looked nice and wasn't loose, and I did not damage this taking it out of the packaging. So mine was not particularly fragile (since I wasn't super careful about handling it). And it was decently made. Though do beware, because there seem to be some quality control issues here based on what else I have read. Plus, I wouldn't say the materials from which it was constructed were the highest quality (but they were serviceable). I guess I was just lucky that the one I received was OK. This does not damage the surface of the metal, which is nice. (I'm pretty much limiting myself to color-coated copper like Artistic Wire and plain -- dead soft -- copper wire.) This hammer doesn't flatten the wire like the metal hammer does, but it also seems to take much longer to get results (in terms of work hardening). It is possible that there is something lacking in my technique (I am new at this, like I said above, and am teaching myself from books) but I will say that this is pretty lightweight and that also might have something to do with it (I don't have this issue with my metal hammer, but of course that also flattens the wire, which is not always something you want.). For what it's worth, this really doesn't damage the metal, and that is nice. Unlike a metal hammer, this is not noisy to use. I don't think this would be suitable for metal stamping, though. You just don't get enough force out of it to make an impression because it is so lightweight.

Not Too Bad...
But I should have bought a heavier hammer. Will work well for hand stamping into softer metals, but if you want to work with it, you're going to need to hit more than once which can be a problem for people with shaky hands like myself. It is still a great deal and is as described and I have no real problems with using it. It was my own mistake not purchasing a heavier hammer.

Worked for me
This is a pretty simple product, a small hammer, wooden handle, rubber on one end, plastic on the other. The only problem I had was, I used it to assemble an AR lower receiver and after repeated pounding of very small metal detent pins, the rubber and plastic began to deteriorate and chip away. This wasn't even a huge problem. If you are using this for jewelry, like it was designed, you will have no issues.
