G2RISE SN01 Full Face Snorkel Mask with Detachable Camera Mount, Anti-Fog and Foldable Design, Advanced Breathing System for a Safe Adults/Kids Snorkeling Experience

I took a full-face snorkel mask with me on our recent trip to the Maldives, and I’m honestly so glad I did. I’ve always struggled a bit with traditional snorkels—breathing through my mouth felt unnatural, and I hated dealing with water sneaking into the tube. This mask completely changed that experience. The panoramic view was incredible. Swimming over the reefs and seeing all the colorful fish and coral felt like I was in a nature documentary. The wide lens gave such a clear, uninterrupted view, and because I could breathe normally through my nose and mouth, I was way more relaxed in the water. It fit snugly and comfortably, and the anti-fog design actually worked—even in the humid Maldives heat. I also appreciated the dry top system that stopped water from getting in when diving down slightly or when waves came over. If you’re heading somewhere like the Maldives where the snorkeling is world-class, I can’t recommend a full-face mask enough. It made the whole experience feel effortless and way more immersive. I even convinced my partner to try it, and now they’re hooked too!

Had this mask bought for a present and what a present it was, excellent full face mask I have facial hair and could not get a seal with a normal mask but no problems with this one. Great vision when snorkelling if you try to get too deep the valve closes so no water can get in, no misting up. I couldn’t believe the price when I saw it great value for money.

We bought a couple of these a little while ago, however we first used them last month on holiday. I’ve used similar snorkel masks before which leaked and steamed up quickly, so I was a little apprehensive to use it. First of all, they fit well. I chose the larger mask, and my partner selected the smaller size, based on our own assessment of our heads, and we were pretty much spot on. They’re reasonably comfortable, and leave fewer lines than old school snorkel masks. They also condense down well for packing. The snorkel tube mechanism took a few seconds to suss out, but after that they are really easy to put up and down. The valve in the breathing tube is really effective too. I fully dived under the water, and upon resurfacing found that there was no water in the tube. The mask did leak a little bit around the eyes, albeit very minor. It can be a bit panicky when you see a leak though, as obviously you’re breathing in the mask too. It also did mist up, but I’ve never experienced a mask that doesn’t! Overall, it’s good fun and good quality, and a great way to snorkel.

We had previously bought a very cheap face mask but found the straps were not keeping it on our face so we sent it back. I then panicked about safety and bought a few Cressi masks to try. One of them was hard to breathe through and another didn't fit very well I they went back too. It was only then that we went for these G2RISE SN01 masks and we were so glad we did. My wife and daughter had a size S/M and I had a L/XL. They fit the face well and form a good seal. Breathing is easy. They do not fog up. The field of vision is excellent. They feel sturdy. The safety cover for the clip holding the fold away breathing pipe is reassuring. They come with a bag, an attachment for an action camera and spare valves. After a test in a swimming pool, we took them on a family snorkeling trip in the Red Sea on holiday and I found they were perfectly good for 30 plus minutes without any adverse effects. I put the mask on before I entered the water and took it off as I climbed out the boat and I never once experienced a salty taste in my mouth from any seawater leaks. It's worth noting that Red Sea diving trips do not advise the use of these face masks due to the potential for CO2 buildup. I even had to sign a disclaimer that I had selected to do so myself and understood the consequences. However, my experience is that, as long as you breathe slowly and deeply and do not over exert yourself, this problem does not occur. We did not try diving under the water with the mask on. It does have an airway protection valve so a small plastic ball will stop water flooding into the mask if the tip goes under the water. I think you would struggle to dive with it simply because of the additional buoyancy it provides. I recommend this product for casual snorkelers on holiday.

My dad and I went on a snorkelling trip to Riviera Maya and he bough a similar mask from a known manufacturer. His mask was weirdly shaped and water would leak to his face (no pictures of his mask to avoid confusion), it was very hard to breathe with it as you needed to inhale very deeply, mine one sealed perfectly and you can breath normally. It also prevents water from entering the mask through the breathing tube. I used it nearly daily for 3 weeks in fresh and sea water, making sure to always rinse it after using it, using a micro fibre towel to dry it to prevent watermarks and leaving it out overnight so the elastic would dry properly. I used the bubble wrap and storage bag that came with it to protect it on the go. The only flaw I found was that the screw and cap to hold a camera became rusty after a week and a half of use, and seeing as this is a product meant to be used in the sea, they should be using suitable materials for it. If you use a camera with this, make sure to have an additional adjustable arm to go between the camera and the mask (shown in the first picture ), as just attaching the camera as it is will mean that the camera is not fully submerged and you might get better footage if you adapt it to go further down (nearer your forehead like in my first picture is perfect to capture what you see and it doesn’t really mess with your view despite how it looks) that also makes it more adaptable in the angle you want to use it, etc. I was able to fully submerge using the mask, but it is very hard (there is a lot of resistance), on the plus side the water won’t come inside the mask through the pipe if you manage to fully submerge yourself. I used the mask for an average of 2-4 hours a day uninterrupted and it did leave a bit of a mark in my face but nothing too bad, really (see third picture). Make sure you don’t wear a greasy sunscreen with it, maybe a light primer that gets fully absorbed way before using the mask so it doesn’t damage the rubber seal. My only regret was the colour… I love pink, but let’s just say it looks a bit… ehmmm… just look at the second picture and my dad’s face in the 6th picture. Both my husband and my dad bursted in laughter when they saw me wearing this for the first time 😅, just go for the blue one or any other colour really ! Edit: I bought another one in blue for my husband (and former to borrow ☺️) absolutely great like the first one but much more presentable

Worked really well, didn’t fog up, comfortable. However, at the end of the 2nd snorkel salt water got in the mask as I was removing it / or maybe it was the detergent and water the tour operator dunked it in….but the film inside the mask to prevent fogging went yellow and started dripping. Tried to clean and wash with water but the film was damaged and I won’t be able to use it again :(

This is a good mask that will serve you for 1,5 to 2 years. Strong points: - very comfortable to wear for 30 minutes or more - easy breathing. Weak points: - The elastic band starts to deteriorate after about a year (but you can buy replacements), and - the plastic of the tube becomes brittle after 2 years, causing it to break. I have bought this mask again, knowing what the weak points are.

Ce masque est très qualitatif. La respiration est tout aussi aisée que sur d'autre modèles très connus. Le joint visage est très bien ajusté si vous commandée la bonne taille. Aucune buée même lors de grandes respiration et de longues sessions d'observation.
