These water beads have been great for my 2 1/2 year old. The small box I received was definitely deceiving since I’ve never had any experience with them before. I used one teaspoon of each color (there are 5 bags if you can see in the pic; two of the bags have mixed colors (clear/purple and yellow/orange) the 3 solid bags are: green, blue, and red/pink). There are still a bunch left over in the bags we can use at a different time. The animals that “grow” in the water get REALLY slimy when they first go in, but after a couple minutes that goes away and they do actually get pretty big considering their starting size. We have had lots of fun with this. I would suggest buying it to keep your kiddos busy and it is a very good sensory bin. There aren’t any directions that come w the water beads, so I had to look up online what the water/water bead ratio was. I used one teaspoon of water beads to about 2.5-3 cups of water. I would buy them again

This was an overall fun project for my kids ages 3, 5, and 7. Tons of beads! It came in a very small box and was worried it wasnt going to have all that showed. It did and was more than enough for 3 kids!

I tried to take a photo but it wouldn't work. I did the math for a stress ball since it says to add 1,500 balls to a balloon and add water and came up with adding 3 1/2 one half teaspoons of beads per balloon. I have not tried it yet and it does not state how much water to add. I did just throw some in a bowl and am waiting on them to expand which should take 4 hours. My math:70,000 beads in 5 bags(7colors). One bag was 34 half teaspoons and about 14,000beads. So, 14,000divided by 1,500 is 9.33batches per bag. 34 spoons divided by 9.33 us 3.644 or approx 3.5 half teaspoons per balloon. I used half teaspoons instead of whole teaspoons as it seemed easier to measure them into the funnel.

My daughter likes all the things it comes with, especially the growing sea animals. The water beads are smaller than the name brand ones, but no big deal. We got a good variety of colors too.

It might be a good value, but could you cram anymore in that tiny box? Seriously. Also, why in the photo does it show all bead colors were separate..... but they aren't. I didn't want some colors mixed for me. 🤥

I used this for a sensory bin. The children love it!

My son is 6 and has autism and he loves these beads for sensory play. He also happens to love animals of all sorts so the sea animals were a huge hit with him! He also likes the tools that were included, which I am surprised he uses but happy he does as it helps with his motor skills! Highly Recommend and will buy again in the future.
