Worked like charm on my 55" Mi TV 4X Pro. No loss of audio quality. Might reduce you max volumes a bit, but if your speakers are great, you won't feel a thing. Just go for it.

Ohh thanks Amazon, I bought new sony Bravia 2 before few weeks but I couldn't connect my old Philips home theatre 5.1 but through this connecter I can play my cable content also my google tv content YouTube etc. Thanks again Amazon.
