I tend to go with the namebrand, when it comes to chargers. The Makita charger is well worth the money. It’s been working for a good long time and gets daily use.

Makita dual charger
This is a must have for anyone running the Makita 18 V platform. It charges two batteries simultaneously. It is a fast charge. Each of the 2 ports operate independently and produces independent readings. When one stops charging the other will carry on to full charge. It is durable and quite convenient.

Excellent quaaity and charges my 9V battery in less than 1 hour.
Makita products are not cheap but they are excellent quality, and do the job. This charger makes it easy to slide the battery in, charges quickly, and is solid (heavier than the other chargers). I discarded aother charer because I had to struggle to slide the battery in, then it would not hold the battery so I had to keep pushing the battery in to get it fully charged. This charger is fast and very reliable. Well worth the cost.

Works great. I had to replace my charger after a power surge at the house burned it out. This one costs the earth but it works fine.

If you can get this deal, go for it
For the DC18RD ordered and shipped by Amazon: I got this for $88.79 + tax. The charger looks like the factory item but the top of the plastic clamshell package with all identifying info was cut off, so, something is different about it. It works fine, charging my batteries effectively and is quieter than the original charger that came with my drill. Since most other dealers want ~$200 for this, I feel fortunate to have found this deal.

Doppelt lädt schneller!
Diese Schnelladegeröt ist ein absolutes Muss für Makitageräte mit 36V. Nur so kann ein gleichzeitiges Laden der Akkus umgesetzt werden...es sei denn man nutzt zwei einzelne Laderäte. Ein tolles Gimmik ist das Einstellen der unterschiedlichen Klingeltöne bei Fertigstellung des Ladevorgangs. Eine schöne Abwechslung zum plumpen piiiieeep. Die Statusanzeige per Leuchtdiode ist ein bißchen altbacken, aber dennoch zielführend. Das Laden selber erfolgt zügig und ohne großes drumherum.
