I wanted a dimmable lamp on my desk in case I need to read something in the evening or to reflect more light on my face during zoom calls. This fits the bill nicely. I love the touch feature instead of having to fumble for a control in the dark. The shade diffuses the light so it doesn't trigger a headache, as I cannot tolerate bare bulbs of any kind, being a light-sensitive person. Very happy with this purchase.EDIT: I've had this lamp for 6 months and now it's begun to malfunction. I moved it to the bedroom to replace a brighter lamp and for the last 3 weeks, it's been turning itself on. At first it was just every now and then but the problem is so bad that it comes on several times a night and wakes me up. I have to unplug it overnight which negates the whole purpose of a touch lamp! I have another touch lamp in my house that is at least 10 years old and I've never had this problem with that one. I contacted the seller, will update my review as necessary.EDIT 2: contacted seller who quickly responded and resolved the issue with a new replacement sent out immediately. I really appreciate the excellent customer service and backing their products :)

Having used this as a bedside lamp for some time now I feel pretty confident in writing a review for it. Overall I'm very satisfied with it. There wasn't really anything to assemble. If memory serves me all you really have to do is pop the lampshade on it. The fact that it has two USB outlets and a separate plugin is a huge plus.I mean, really what is there to say about a good quality lamp? It has three different modes of brightness that are activated by touch. The included lightbulb is pretty good; it's a soft yellow light that is pretty easy on the eyes. My one con with the lamp is it doesn't seem to like the lightbulb I bought separately for it. I'm not sure if it's for every dimmable lightbulb or not but it acts kind of weird when you put your own in it. I noticed that anytime I left my lamp on that it would cycle through the stages on its own eventually turning itself off.Having said all of that, I do recommend it. Oh, and cosmetically, I think it looks really good too.

The media could not be loaded.  I just renovated my apt and I am replacing a lot of the furniture including lights and lamps. I have an older lamp which already is having some problems turning on and off so I decided to look for a new one. I have not shopped for lamps for a long time, almost 10 years and I did not realize there are so many options now.I like the dimmable function with touch and I also like how this lamp comes with two USB charging slots. When this arrives, I immediately place it on my night stand and test it. The dimmable light has 3 setting, the difference are visible when the room is dark. I like the lamp does not have a on and off switch at all, All you do is just touch the base and it will turn it on, and another touch will change the dim level. You just keep touching it until it does what you want it to do. The lamp has a fabric texture to it, like the lint texture. It is not glossy or flat. See my photo for closeup texture shot. I have a hello kitty lamp shade which I save before the house renovation, the base is not working but the shade is still good. I tried the hello kitty shade on and it works as well so I am quite satisfied with it

Again, another update 4 stars for customer service - December: I received another surprise replacement lamp. I do appreciate that the seller sends replacements when the lamps stop working. I am hoping this lamp lasts longer than the first one and original replacement.Update 2 stars - November: the replacement lamp I received no longer works. It doesn’t do anything at all when you plug it in. The original also no longer turns on at all. I tried replacing the bulbs and no luck. I don’t know what the deal is with these lamps but they are definitely not quality lamps. They have a very short life span if they work properly at all.Update 5 stars - September: I haven't heard back from the seller but I did receive a new lamp in the mail today that is functioning properly. I appreciate receiving a replacement.August 3 stars : I love the look of this lamp. I love that there are different brightness settings. BUT when I try to plug anything into the USB ports, nothing happens. It's like there is no power running to the ports at all.

Picture does not do this lamp justice. It is roughly 17" tall with lampshade. I would have liked it to be a little taller, but it is still nice. Assembly was a breeze, nothing difficult. The light is a warm light as opposed a day, bright light. Personally, I think it is a perfect light for a living room to read by or just to lighten it up an area. My purpose for buying was to have access to usb outlets. The usb are on the side of the base and the additional power outlet is on top of the base, very convenient when an extra outlet is needed! I was glad to come across this little lamp instead of having to buy a new table just to get usb ports. A great deal on my opinion! I would definitely recommend it.

Ordered two lamps. They were well packaged, but one arrived with a bulb snapped off at the base. I would guess it was dropped during shipping. Contacted the seller and they took care of the problem right away. Completely satisfied.The lamps are a sturdy build and have a good weight to them. The light color is warm and the lowest setting works good as a night light. I first placed the lamp on the table next to my radio. I did get a little noise when listening to AM (MW). It could be the lamp or the bulb. Moving the lamp to another table, about 10 foot away took care of this. If you are going to be using the charging ports for your cell phone, you are probably going to do this anyway. So it is a great lamp and a good company to do business with. But for the six of us out there who still listen to AM radio, you may have to place the lamp on another table. I would purchase again.
