Philips MG7745 / 15 14-in-1, Face, Hair and Body Multigroom Beard Trimmer

This series 7000 trimmer is an upgrade over my Philips multi-groom trimmer QG3030 that lasted me for 9 years and was pure plastic built.But this MG7745 is so much more superior in built over my previous one that it seems I'm all set for another decade, to say the least.PROs -1. MG7745 is made of full metal body with a rubberized grip and has a good heft to it which gives a nice grip and confidence. Note, the MG7715 in comparison has a fully plastic body, so this justifies the price difference to start with.2. It's IPX7 rated which means it's showerproof (as advertised : Though I don't see the need to take it under shower), but I'd say it's actually splash proof so you can wash the trimmer and attachments under a tap to clean the hair particles.3. This has quick charge. A 5-minutes top up can give one shave and overall it takes 45 minutes - 1 hour to fully charge it which gives a 3 hour usage. It's way better than my previous trimmer QG3030 that required 10 hour charge for a mere 40 minutes run time.4. Has hair trimming, nose/ear hair trimmer, body grooming attachments and most importantly a "Foil shaver" for that clean shave, in addition to beard trimming ofcourse. It's probably because of the Foil Shaver that I chose to buy MG 7745 over MG 7715. This totally justifies the premium you pay over MG7715.5. Includes a drawstring pouch to store the trimmer and attachments. But I doubt that it will accommodate all 14 attachments along with the trimmer and charger, so I bought an EVA hard shell case from the market to store it.More so shoving in everything in one pouch would only result in scuffs and scratches on the beautiful metal body of the MG7745.Anyhow it's good to atleast have a pouch, which is missing in MG 7715.(Yet another justification for the price difference)6. As for trimming and shaving it works perfectly. Not at all noisy. The blades are sharp and gives a clean and smooth trimming experience in one go. You don't have to work it over and over.7. Warranty: Though the listing shows a 3 year warranty, but on registering your product on the Philips website, you get a 5 -Year Global Warranty. Which is a bonus.8. Last but not the least great shopping and delivery experience on Amazon.CONs:-Well there's no con in relation to usage and performance of the trimmer, but my only gripe is that there are way too many attachments, that you'll keep fiddling around if you are in a hurry .Philips should have made single attachments for each purpose hair, body and beard with multi level adjustment on the trimmer or attachment itself.But anyhow I think they seperated the attachments of each size so as to give the perfect results .PS: I will definitely recommend the trimmer to anyone looking for a multigrooming product around the 4K mark. It totally justifies the price considering the QG3030 I bought in 2010 for 2K lasted me 9 years, so after 9 years a 2k additional premium is totally justified for so many additional attachments and improvement in all aspects be it built quality, performance, charge time, IPX7 rating.

It’s a nice product from Philips provides complete range for trimming. Good in quality, battery performance is awesome, used almost 2:40 hrs (in parts) with full charge. Shaver gives smooth clean shave (depends on your hair type). Easy in use and having all types of comb from 1mm to 16mm. One who loves beards and like to maintain professionally should go for such products.

The product is very good and feels sturdy. Runtime of 180 mins is awesome. However the packing was pathetic. The first time it was delivered to me, the seal was tampered and the box was open from beneath. I raised a replacement order and was expecting it to be better this time. However it was the same story again. Again the box was damaged. The seller (LATA STORE) should know that a just bubble wrap sheet is not going to protect the packaging and should had packed it in a better manner. Imagine how would someone feel to send/receive a gift in such a bad condition. I wasn't sure if the seal was tampered this time but I decided to keep it anyways. I didn't want to waste another week in just getting a replacement product. I expected a better packaging the second time after my complaint, but I was again disappointed. The product is worth a buy!

Philips never lets you down. Very Sturdy Product and amazingly works. To new to talk a lot but from the previous products I had as trimmer, this is rock solid and great one to use. Ease of Use and Effect of the trimming is great.Do remember to buy MG7745 as it has 14 -in- 1 items, which comes with shaver[Small], that helps you on a quick closer shave after trimming. I did a mistake of selecting MG7715 and then had to do a lot of get this product.

This Philips trimmer is an awesome product at this price. I wanted a multigroomer and this is the perfect one out there. Have been using the Philips trimmer for past 3 year Nd I wanted an upgrade from the plastic body n wobbly trimmer heads. This also feels and looks veryyyy classy...and extremely delightful to hold in hand.*POSITIVES# wide variety of trimming heads- nose , foil shaver,body, normal trimmer and shaping trimmer heads.# wide range of combs 1mm onwards# cleaning brush# sturdy metallic body# waterproof/showerproof# heck of a battery life..ohh yezzzz!!!😍# quick charge...yess 5 10 mins of charging will give u enf juice for a single quick trimHandy for a quick trim for the office goers..# sturdy head grip- the locking mechanism is tooo good that it's some times a bit difficult to change.# it's a complete package.*NEGATIVES# Travel pouch does seem a bit undercut# could've provided a proper casing to hold these 15 pieces- comes in a raggedy paperish material that I usual find while I buy eggs.# could've integrated the comb length adjuster on the body ...instead of a comb for each millimeter ....I mean, it's a bit too much to change n change one comb after another...it gets tiring....could've also saved the number of Accessories to keep track of. Understably it's for greater precession...but still an inconvenience.

The product is nowhere near to buying. I bought it only a few months back and my trimmer has already stopped functioning. Neither is it turning on, Nor is it getting charged.Not at all recommended. I still remember having a Philips Trimmer back in 2014 and it still works perfectly fine.Sorry to say but the quality of products from Philips has taken a bad fall.
