Will this fit a briggs and stratton 18.5 hp intek plus model 31p777 motor, on a craftsman dyt 4000 riding mower model 917.273372?

Fit mine perfectly which was a B&S 18.5 HP Intek OVH in a Troy-Bilt Bronco model J609G. Required a T40 bit, a 7/16 wrench and a 3/8 wrench/driver. The starter mounts to the engine frame using two 7/16 nuts with a T40 in the center of the nut. I could get to one of the T40s directly but I couldn't directly get at the T40 on the other nut so used the 7/16 wrench to get it. The 12V nut is a 3/8.

Will this fit a craftsman lt 1000 numbers on the top of the starter are 040209ch

I have used this type starter on craftsman engines from 6hp to 15.5 hp . it will also fit other makes of engines. the weak spot in these starters is the nylon Bendix

Will this work on craftsman briggs tys 3000 21hp 540cc?

If there are mounting holes for a starter it should work, my 8hp had those holes. Worked like a charm.
