Made me genuinely happy!
Color is vibrant, flow is smooth. Ink is well behaved even in a poor quality paper. I am also writing with a Sulekha Ebony Mahogany, which is more watery in consistency, and slightly more towards yellow. But this one (Pelican Brilliant Brown) is more lubricated, slightly more orange. Both of these are very close in shade. Water resistance is not very good. I shall add a photograph of writing samples of these two. Overall, very satisfied.

DOESN'T LOOK BROWN TO ME
This Pelikan 4001 brilliant brown looks like orange. I don't know why it looks like that. I like the color and ink flow is also good but it looks like orange.
