Ok so, I bought this on a whim because I had new ink, and I was sick of the Aquaphor destroying my clothes with greasy residue, And just generally feeling icky.I am including a picture of my tattoo, a week in and freshly coated with this salve.So for this tattoo, I used this product exclusively, here are my opinions:People said a little of this goes a long way, now that my tattoo is past the initial first few days of healing, I will agree with this statement. I use far less and it lasts much much longer. That said, I blew through this container in the first couple days. I applied whenever my ink felt dry. And I ended up using quite a bit at first in order to feel fully moisturized. The salve does last for several hours after application though, and now it’s lasting even longer. The bonus here is that it smells amazing and the residue doesn’t ruin clothes with greasy blotches.I have noticed that this tattoo has healed much faster than other tattoos, and I have not experienced the scabbing and itching that generally occurs with the tattoo healing process. I’m right at the itchy scabby point too, and I’ve got nothin.Honestly, I have nothing but good things to say about this product and I highly recommend it. I will be purchasing more for my next tattoo and also recommending this to friends. Got this for after tattoo care and it is wonderful. Continuing to use because I like how it makes my skin feel and look. Excellent product. It is a little jar but it doesn't take much. My tattoo healed perfectly with no issues. I have sensitive skin and no issues with this balm.

I am in love with this salve! I’m EXTREMELY sensitive to fragrance; almost anything added will immediately give me a migraine. This does have a scent, but it’s all completely natural from the herbs used, so it doesn’t upset my head. I find it quite pleasant and a little clarifying for my headaches actually!Now, the important part: how did it do with my tattoo? It was INCREDIBLE! I haven’t used tattoo-specific ointments before so I can’t compare it to any other brands, but this tattoo healed much faster and cleaner than any other I’ve had before. It helped ease the pain, even on the first night when it’s usually the worst and will sometimes interfere with sleep, I only noticed pain really if I bumped it during the night. It also helped incredibly with the entire peeling/itchy phase. If the tattoo got really itchy, which has also kept me awake in the past, I just applied more ointment and the itchiness decreased by between 80-100%. The tattoo appears fully healed and had almost no scabbing!Bottom line: I would absolutely recommend this to anyone getting a tattoo and I am extremely happy with it!! My tattoo covers about 2/3rds-3/4ths of my inner forearm with lots of colors and intricate detail. The fine lines are still just as delicate, the colors have remained exactly as they were applied... I literally could not be happier with it! I bought the small jar and I’ve only used enough to have hit the top of the label so a little really does go a long way! I’m happy to see that it’s useful for other skin irritations and issues; my husband had a scrape last night and I applied a little ointment to it and it’s already looking better! I also have an eczema-like breakout that pops up now and then on my hands; I’m eager to try this on them next time instead of the steroid cream I’ve been prescribed.I highly, HIGHLY recommend this ointment!!!

Just got my 2nd tattoo! I love it and quickly ran out of the natural product I got from my artist. I went on here to search for a good, natural product. I ordered this and Hustle Butter. I received both 6 days after I had gotten my tattoo. I tried this one 1st. I LOVE this salve. Yes, the jar is small but it really goes a long way. Spreads easily. You really don't need a lot. I will have plenty for my next tattoo scheduled in a few months. My tattoo barely scabbed or pealed. It never itched. So I decided to try Hustle butter after a few days. My tattoo itched all day long! Came home, washed it and put this one back on and wonder of wonders, no itching! This stuff is amazing! I will be telling all my friends about this product. The smell is very natural too. Very eucalyptus-y. That doesn't bother me at all. I like natural scents and it isn't strong enough to smell after you put it on. I work in a very hot, dirty warehouse for a big name shipping company and this salve kept my tattoo nourished and itch free. I've actually had comments on how well and quickly it has healed. Especially considering the work environment I'm in daily. And because I've read the reviews I will tell you...I was not offered anything in return for a positive review. This is an honest and very grateful review. I searched for what I needed, read ingredients and read reviews to make my decision. I will be ordering the larger size just to have on hand. With summer here, I want to try this for itchy bug bites!

This is overall great, it smells nice, it's moisturizing and a little goes a long way so I know I have plenty for my next few tattoos (assuming it doesn't go bad?) I use it on my elbow, the dry patches on my arms and I've used it on my feet lol. I like that the container is eco-friendly and the ingredients are all good and not harmful to skin or tattoo healing. There was an issue with delivery (mail person in my area is blatantly stealing peoples packages, no, no one is doing anything about it) so I didn't receive this until my tattoo was already a week old. By that point I honestly couldn't say if it really does help with redness or itchiness as that phase of healing was already on it's way out. Make sure you buy tattoo wash and tattoo moisturizer a week or so before your tattoo appointment to make sure it's there when you need it. Aftercare is so important for cleanliness, the look and life of your tattoo.

I wish I would’ve known about this stuff since my first tattoo many moons ago!! It’s wonderful! Super moisturizing & a little goes a very long way (but with its many other uses it can go fast). It also keeps a nice protective layer on the tattoo versus instantly fully absorbing in which I find is great for those new tattoos you must cover with clothes during the day. I’ve got an under boob & large rib cage tattoo that are super fresh & this keeps a nice protective barrier against a tshirt throughout the day. But it also works great for tattoos in “well trafficked spots”. I’ve got a inside finger tattoo that obviously cant be protected by anything. I use this a few times daily on it & even though it rubs off quick it’s healing wonderfully & is never dry or irritated. It also really does help to soothe & I love that it’s natural & made in the USA.It does work wonderfully to slightly rejuvenate old tattoos & just for any miscellaneous skin issues one may have. My heels crack so easily & this does wonders for them. My friend steals it & uses it for badly cracked lips & my other friend whose body is mostly tattooed used it once on his new one & has been stealing it ever since too. I’ve resorted to hiding it lol

Just two days in, and I'm absolutely loving this product for my new tattoo! My tattoo has been inflamed, shabby, itchy, and painful. The salve has helped calm U7all these things down. I also know the essential oils it contains are great anti-bacterial and healing. This product is soothing and feels healthy and nurturing for my skin. I'll try to remember to write an update in 5 days when it'll have been a week of using this salve.
