Monster Octagon Over-Ear Headphones - Red Matte

Wow! Extremely impressed with this one. I bought a pair of monster n tunes about a year ago, but I wanted a slight upgrade. So I bought these after reading some reviews and I wasn't let down. From the surprising effort put into the box itself, to the raw performance of the headphones, I haven't been more happy. The highs and lows are great at all volumes on the genres I tested (classic rock, rap, hip hop, classical, classic hop(Sinatra era), and dubstep)), and the sound cancelation is pretty good as well when the volume is above 40% give or take. I can wear these for hours before I feel any pressure, and even then it's quite bearable. As for the look and feel of these, I was impressed the second I opened the box and saw them and that sums that up. They feel extremely durable and the cushions for your ears fits well. Overall, the sound quality is what you'd expect for the price, and the look matches it.

I just purchased my second pair as the sound quality and bass is definitely amazing with these headphones, but the headband cracked on my first pair that I have had about a year. I am so PISSED and UPSET about them cracking, but the sound quality and noise cancellation is so good that I sucked it up and purchased a second pair. My first pair still works fine, but now that the headband is cracked, their fit is not snug which affects their sound quality. At this price point Monster, YOU can produce a better quality product Darn It!!!

I still rock to it. Bob my head with jamming music and my husband can't hear a thing! Now, I'm no teeny-bopper but I love my clear and crisp music just like they do. The sound is perfect and equal. I did lose my cord (which I love) and ordered a replacement and went right back to jamming! Highly recommended. Nope, I wasn't paid for this review, just sharing my opinion of these headphones. Headphones sound great but I did not like the cables it came with. I had to buy an aftermarket more sleek cable with speaker on it. Overall great product.

Great sound. The cushions are really nice, the item feels heavy relative to Beats Solo 2 (wired), but the comfort of the ear pads allows me to wear it longer than the Beats Solo 2 (wired). The bass is deep, the treble is clear.

I usually really like Monster products. The headphones have great sound which is why I did not give it a one star. Sometimes, the sound cuts out; I believe this to be because the end that plugs into your headphone jack is bent; I wish it was straight. I am super disappointed.

The sound from these headphones is just simply amazing. I just ordered another pair, they are this good.

For the price, these are incredible, they got better and better the longer I used them. I have the highly rated Audio Tech M50x which do have a better sound quality, they are not loud or have that deep bass. So bought these for when listening to rap, dance and r&b , whether playing at high volumes or low, they perform excellent at this genera of music and gaming. Would note that I do use these with an asus sound card at 64ohm

Just WOW.... Bought this baby for 75 Euro`s... and i can tell you that you will never find any headphones in that price range as good as Monster Octagons!The BASS is so bada$$, and the quality is top notch... it is somewhat " plasticy " but dont let that fool you....i recomend this item for everyone who wants to buy a great music headphones...5/5
