A: Yes, I wear mine under the helmet. Besides keeping sweat out of your eyes, it also keeps the sun off my head( you still have those slots in the helmet that the sun can get through).

**Q: is this snug enough to wear under a helmet**
A: Yes, I wear it underneath my Bell bicycling helmet. Very comfortable and the rear ties work well to secure it with the right amount of tightness. I own two of these.
