Bandai Star Trek 1/850 Scale USS Voyager NCC-74656

This is one of 4 Star Trek themed ships produced by Bandai. The others being the NX-01, Refit Enterprise 1701 (no bloody A, B, C or D), and Next Gen Enterprise E. These kits are no longer in production, only available on the secondary market. I've built all 4 of these gems and had a great time with each! This is a snap-together project with NO GLUE required! The graphics are factory imprinted, so NO DECALS! And, the ships light up! Yeah, its not LED, but that was OK with me. Much of the criticism that I see about these Bandai model kits is about seams, light bleed, and difficulty in assembly. Its all about your skill level and patience. I found the assembly to be totally enjoyable! Wish Bandai has continued the series! The only slight criticism is that the ships are not to scale with one another, but given the theoretical difference in size of the 1701 E and the NX-01, its totally understandable. Boldly go, and do this build!

Best and most accurate model of the USS Voyager that money can buy! The paint job and detail application is absolutely flawless!

どんどん作りやすくなってきています。配線なども今回は簡単。Ａ～Ｅ型と並べて飾るとヴォイジャーの大きさ・迫力は段違いです。これで最後なんて言わずにバンダイさんにはＢ型・Ｃ型とお願いしたいものです。

組立て説明書が不足していた。過去に同じものを作っていたので説明書がない部分を手許にある古いもので補完することとした。上箱が変形していた。古い組立て説明書で確認したが部品は不足していなかった。このことから新品とは言えない。

スタートレックシリーズのバンダイからの発売、待ちに待っていました。エンタープライズに引き続いての発売嬉しいです。じっくり作るつもりです。
