6 inch Super Large Brim Summer Sun Hat Crushable Travel Hat

Bought this hat for my husband for his daily walks around the yard track and when gardening. He’s not looking to win a fashion show with it, but he’s fair skinned with sun sensitivities and a bald head, that makes this the perfect solution for the yard so he won’t ruin one of his good hats. The large brim does a good job shading both his face and neck from the sun and glare. It gets worn daily and considered decent quality than what he had anticipated. It’s a good fit and comfortable to wear. It’s been great for sun protection and the strap has come in handy especially in high winds. The hat has also held up well under a couple of light rains. The original crease from shipping took a bit of work & time to straighten out, but otherwise he has no complaints. It hasn’t been washed yet, so can’t comment on it. It’s easy to pack and store. For the price point and coverage, this was a good purchase. -P.S. He also likes the color!

So I occasionally work outside and don't want to get sunburn/cancer growth on my face/neck. This is by far the widest brim I have ever seen on a man's hat. I will not be wearing it to impress anyone, but it will keep the sun off my face and neck where I burn easily. If you are a landscaper, or gardener, this is a must have! Many colors to choose from. Quality is good.

Having just needed an antibiotic for a pesky infection, and being scheduled to be outdoors from noon on daily, I needed a hat that would provide ultimate sun shading. This hat did the trick admirably. I am protected from the sun's rays from shoulder to shoulder. It breathes well and firs me fine and my head is not diminutive. The drawstring works well. It does have strong snaps to fold up the brim on one or both sides if you want versatility. It does take some time to not be startled when you bump into things because the brim is very wide but you will adjust. Highly recommended. I purchased the beige color. for a cooler temp and not showing dirt as easily as I garden all the time. Now, I feel naked, at least my head does, if I am in the sun and not wearing the hat. Thumb your nose at Mr. Sun!!

Fast delivery! You don't know how hot you are getting until you hose yourself & this hat down. You can fold it in 4 & get the creases out while staying wet, cool, & shady. If it's not that hot & humid & there's a breeze you'll get downright chilly & well protected from cancer causing ultra-violent ultra-violet waves pouring down unabated from the white hot sun. You can help those less well attired reach the shelter of shade or AC. This is the hat of HEROES!

It is hard to find a 6 inch brim, so this hat is special. It is lighter than the similar others I have. It also folds up small enough for travel. You can also bend the rim to make it more fashionable if you want. It is nice and light, seems like it will be cool on the hottest day. The fact that this hat can bend is great. If you sit in a beach chair, you can press it down toward your back so you can sit back in it. The next competitor hat, that I have, Solumbra, has a metal rod around the perimeter. This prevents you from folding that one. And you can't sit back in a chaisse. Just one Con: it feels stiff, a little like paper. But mine is new. I don't know if it gets softer. But I still recommend this hat highly.

I bought this hat for my husband. It was shown on a male and said “one size fits most”...except my husband. He doesn’t have that big of a head and, since the pandemic, I’ve been buzzing his hair... so no hair to add anything extra to his head. I decided to keep it because it does offer great protection for my much smaller head. This isn’t for a man’s head... 🙄

the extra wide brim was wonderful in our southwestern sun. the creases were hard to remove after your shipment. I would not buy it again when folded.

Muy buen producto. Ajustó a la medida de mi cabeza. Hay que darle una planchada para quitarle las arrugas, pues a la entrega viene doblado y para guardarlo hay que doblarlo de nuevo. El color es más claro de lo que pensé, pero ayudó mucho en unas salidas que hice en días de mucho sol.

Not much to say about it now, I haven’t had the chance to wear my new Cap. Looking forward to wear it this Summer. It looks vey good but needs a bit of pressing before I wear it under the sun!!!
