First, to comment on the quality - I think this is pretty great quality, especially for the price point. The cinchers come in 3 levels of hook/loop before you zip. Right now I am hooking at the largest setting (although I'm pretty sure I can hook to the smallest) before zipping. I ordered an XL. I wear an XL and sometimes XXL Shirt. (16-18 pants). My weight fluctuates between 234-237, however, since COVID, I have gained in my midsection, hips and butt. The most recent time I measured, my waist was 39” or 40”(would have benefit from measuring again). I have the hardest clasp on, the 1st, most inner clasp, yet, it’s a struggle getting it zipped. I’m determined to get the zipper up, beyond 1 1/2 inch up. For now, I have left the partial zip and Velcro’d the belt closed. I’m going to slim down with this belt with exercise, eating healthy smaller portions, drinking water and I have Sweat Sweat ointment and plan to order the Hot Cream now. I’m determined to lose weight all over, but especially my Mid-Section with this full torso situation. **Q: What type of material is this? Does it compress ypur tunny or does it stretch?** A: It is 80% Neoprene & 20% Polyester. And it compresses your tummy to the max & it’s super tight so you have back support and comfort.
