Great chair for the price - easy to assemble - perfect for short folks
I rarely write reviews but I wanted to do so in this case because my experience, having two of them, contradicted many of the reviews I read. Both chairs, purchased several years apart, were easy to assemble. It's fairly intuitive. I would just say make sure you know which part of the seat is the front and which is the back, when you put on the arms and back of the chair. The bottom of the chair is labeled so that you will know which is which, B/F. I have seen pictures in the reviews where the back was not put on correctly limiting the seat size. I had no problem either time installing the wheels. They are installed like any wheels you might add to a rolling cart or Rubbermaid storage drawers. This time I upgraded the wheels to "Office Chair Wheels Replacement,(Set of 5) 3'' Rollerblade Wheels Smooth Rolling Heavy Duty Casters Safe for All Floors Including Hardwood - Universal Stem 7/16 Inch, White" by LPHY so that I could have all white wheels. No problem. I can confirm that 11mm wheels worked for me. Based on reviews I purchased both 10mm (which I couldn't get in white) and 11mm. I returned the 10mm. They were way too small. Beware that using rollerblade wheels will raise the height of the chair approx another inch. So if you are short like me and need a very low chair, I would advise against making that change. My feet still touch the floor with the replacement wheels on. I'm 5' 2". I use the chair on a hardwood and find there is a slight disadvantage to the rollerblade wheels - sometimes the chair starts to drift. It's not a big deal for me and I think it's worth it for the all white look. I doubt it would happen if I were using the chair on a carpet. If you are short, like to the point where co-workers get a but of a fright when they sit in the chair you previously used in the conference, I think you will be very happy with this chair. Looking at other chairs, I think this chair has the lowest starting height when using the wheels that come with it. The chair does rock back, although not much. Normal position is 90 degrees. I think it goes back to 120. Works for me. You can only lock it at 90 degrees. If the chair won't go back, pull out the level on the right side. Push it back in to lock at 90 degrees. The one problem I had with the original chair, which was black and white, was that eventually the gas lift, the thing that makes it go up and down, started to sink. I contacted the company and sent me a replacement that I received quickly. It toook me forever to get around to replacing it and when I did I didn't have the right tools and made the mistake of using a hammer to get the wheel base off first. I was then unable to get remove the original lift out of the chair base. Lesson learned. But I had always had my eye on the beige chair, which wasn't available when I made my first purchase, because it better matched my office color scheme. So I gave up on trying to replace the lift and treated myself to a new chair in the color I wanted and with all white wheels! I will just add that if you need a lot of lumbar support, this chair might not work for you. The support is just the mesh on the back of the chair. That works for me. You might need a lumbar pillow or a different chair. I also haven't had trouble with the cushion and I am carrying more weight that I should be, to put it mildly. Once I got the wheels off the original chair I couldn't use it so I had to revert to my previous office chair while waiting for the new one to come. It only took a couple of days but it make me realize how comfortable the design of this chair was for me. The seat of that chair curved up on the sides and I was uncomfortable after seating in it for any length of time. With this chair the seat is wide enough so that there is extra cushion on each side of my butt but more importanly I can sit with my legs slightly out to the side without any impediment, which is how I tend to site. I've seen pictures of damanged chairs in the reviews and wondered what the hell are these people doing in these chairs. Granted I don't use mine all day, except during the pandemic, and I don't have any kids at home. I am keeping the original chair for extra part just in case.

Finally -- a chair for short people. Comfortable. Ergonomic. Stylish. And Affordable.
I just got this chair, so this review is only for the first few hours of sitting in it. While the delivery was one of the worst I've experienced with Amazon, this chair is ah-mazing. I've searched for years to find a chair that works for me as a 5"1' woman. I can sit positioned correctly (per my PT) AND have my feet on the ground, not on a stool (or foam roller). The only downside so far is that the OPTP Thoracic Lumbar Back Support, recommended by my PT and purchased on Amazon, does not fit properly as it did in the taller chair. However, this chair ticks all of the boxes AND is a great value for the money. I didn't want to spend many hundreds or thousands of dollars for a desk chair, and got this one with an amazon coupon for around a hundred dollars. Total win. My husband put it together in about 15 minutes. It seems sturdy, is quite cushy, matches my gray desk and best of all, feels good to my body. Definitely recommend!

NOT BEIGE! **3 month update**
I have fallen victim of Amazon prime day as I’m sure many of you have. I was so excited for this chair to come in. Im about to start my masters program and thought I should invest a bit into the place I’ll be doing a lot of work from. This chair perfectly fit my asthetic and had many great reviews. So when I got notified that everything came in today, I was beyond excited to hear my boyfriend say he’d put it all together. I can’t lie in saying I was so disappointed to see that the chair was definitely more grey than beige. I didn’t feel like this chair looked like the photo shown. It does in term of structure but not in color. The reason for the three stars is it feels comfy so far. Keep in mind I’ve only had it a day. I will plan to update this review after three months of using it. But as of right now it is a 3/5 because of the color mishap :/. If you are okay with the color I would suggest it but if you’re looking for a true beige I would advice against! UPDATE: I’ve only had this chair about a week or so and I will say it’s comfortable. Initially I was pretty bummed because of the color not matching the description as a true beige. But customer service reached out to me and they were phenomenal and very generous in treating customer dissatisfaction. I haven’t needed to sit in my chair for longer than an hour or two but as of now it is very comfortable. I do wish the seat was just a bit higher as it sits right around my shoulder blades. So when I lean back it can get a tad uncomfortable but nothing major. Keep in my mind I am only 5’2 so definitely a good chair for my short people. The arms adjusted up assist in my changing seating positions, I love sitting cross legged. The chair is a bit stiff so it will need some breaking in. Overall, it is a good chair outside of the color issue. I changed my rating from a 3/5 to a 4/5 because of their customer assistant and from using this product more. Again I will update in a few months! 3 month update! When I first bought this chair I was upset at the coloring being off because it messed with the look i was going for my office. In the end this chair has much more to offer if you don’t care about the color. For a the first two months I thought this chair was super stiff and could not lean back. Turns out I didn’t unlock the knob so I could lean back! lol but after finally discovering it, I found the chair to be significantly more comfy. I will say sometimes my lower back does hurt so a cushion may help. I don’t spend extended periods of time in it so I’m unsure how that would be. I do think it’s the perfect chair for my needs because I can adjust the height, the arms, change seating position, lean back if I want. Overall I give this chair a 4.5/5 if I could. I’m still docking .5 for the color mishap but overall I highly recommend this chair!

Very pleased
I am a writer, and I took a full-time work from home job two years ago. I love working from home, but I have struggled to get an office set-up that is comfortable for the long hours I now spend at one desk (average of 50 hours per week for my employer and another 20 or so for my own writing). I solved most of the problems, except the chair. I've tried several from the big box office supply store, but they were big and bulky and the arms interfered with my desk setup -- forcing me to sit too far back. Then I tried a couple of chairs sold by home furniture stores (because they didn't have arms) but they each caused a lot of aches and pains because they weren't really ergonomic, or meant to be used for such long hours. I was hesitant to buy something online, but I'm glad I found this one. I don't write many reviews, but I really recommend this chair highly. The biggest feature for me was the ability to move the arms up or down, and work from the chair in either position -- because I move between a corner desk (where I don't want to use arms, for the most ergonomic position) and a laptop desk behind me (where I DO want to use arms for the most ergonomic position). This design factor primary helps to save space when the chair isn't in use -- but it allows me to use the same chair comfortably for both my corner desk and my laptop desk. I am using the chair on a hardwood surface, and the casters work perfectly there. I was worried it would be too slippy (a problem with the first office chair I tried), but they are perfect: easy to roll when I want to roll but immobile otherwise. The quality of the construction seems very high to me, and the chair was very easy to assemble. The pieces were carefully packed, the instructions were OK (the photo illustrations are too small to give enough detail, but the design is very intuitive so that wasn't a problem), the company provides an email address for support (which I didn't need to use, but which I appreciate having when assembly is required). The casters seem like they will be the first place the chair begins to show wear and tear. All the other parts of the chair seem like they will be sturdy and long lasting. It feels both comfortable and solid to sit in, and so far the back/hip/neck pain I was experiencing in the evenings with my old home-decor chair have resolved. I purchased the white model, which looks a little more "homey" than the all black, more corporate looking chair. I am very, very pleased with this purchase. I am actually tempted to buy a second one just to have in reserve, in case anything happens to this one! It's been such a long search for a chair that works!

Good chair, not durable.
When my gaze first met the pictures showing this chair off in its former glory, I was amazed at how simplistic a design could be while addressing the problems of many other chairs in its price range. The taught mesh back with its curvature offers lumbar support that is like no other while remaining very breathable. I kept it in my wish list and when I saw that notification go off, I purchased it in the blink of an eye. When it arrived, I was astounded at how simple of an installation process it had. Most parts slotted right into each other and when all said and done, I had a great looking chair sitting in front of my desk. The chair has gone through several late night sessions of gaming and each time, my back feels much better than it had on any of my previous chairs. So with all of this positive, why only three stars may you ask? Well there is a critical weak spot on the chair. The already thin plastic support frame around the mesh is weakened by two measly screws that hold the mesh in place. This design flaw, I feel, could be countered by the addition of a thin metal frame inserted into the hollow plastic frame in order to give it that boost in strength. The company was quick to respond to my email regarding the issue and states that their warehouse is going to ship the new part out right away. This customer support is very respectable and is how every company should act towards customers but it doesn't change the flaw in the chairs design. I hope that the seller may see this and pass some ideas around on how the issue can be resolved but until then, I don't recommend this chair as leaning back in a slightly wrong position may cause it to snap, even without much pressure added.

I really tried to like this seat
Honestly it took me a long time to write this review because I felt bad writing a negative review but also really wanted to give this chair at least a month before I cast my review on it. Before I get into the specifics of the chair let me tell you a bit about me so maybe it can help you understand where I'm coming from. I'm about 5'11'' weighing around ~200lb. The chair that I had before this was one of the Amazon Basics with a mesh bottom. I'm not an expert of chairs by any means however to me it seems like most chairs with a sort of mesh vs cushions always last longer or are more comfortable to sit on. I also typically try and do my best to research things before I buy them. One of the reasons I was looking for a new seat was to find something maybe a bit more comfortable. The main reason I started looking was honestly just because my chair at the time was squeaking every time I moved but other than that it was fine. In my research, I found a lot of the chairs that I think would be better but I really wanted to try and find something that was a bit more budget friendly. A lot of chairs on Amazon were less expensive than this and this chair was one of amazon's top sellers so I thought I couldn't go wrong. When I got this chair, I almost immediately started to put it together. While I was putting it together I noticed a lot of little flaws in the chair on the arms and other aspects. Nothing super noteworthy but enough to catch my attention. It was more on the cosmetic side of things and looked like issues with how they molded the arms and what not, no big deal. Assembly was pretty straight forward. All the tools came with the chair so it was something you could do if you didn't have any tools already. One thing I noticed is when tightening in the bolts with the provided allen key, it started to round when I was tightening them. I was pretty focused on making sure I wasn't over tightening things in the first place so I was a bit surprised, I switched to another allen key I had and was able to tighten it down much more without any more rounding issues. Now on to actual usage. First thing I noticed switching to this chair was that it was much smaller. Personally still was able to sit in it just fine but was just first observation. The bottom piece also isn't adjustable to move forward or back which isn't a deal breaker but just wanted to add that. It does have a lock option to lock you from moving back in the chair which is nice, however after roughly 3-4 weeks it doesn't work as intended. What I mean by that is that it still locks as it did when I first got it but now the chair almost seems off balance and when you move in the chair it ticks too. Other than just being annoying you also feel like you are balancing on the chair. The biggest issue for me comes down to what I said earlier about mesh vs cushion. This chair's cushion is completely done for. I am actually currently sitting on it and will switch to my old chair after I finish writing my review and my tailbone feels an immense amount of pressure. Like I said, normally I wouldn't have bought a chair like this but with all the positive reviews and amazon best seller badging I thought I couldn't go wrong. My final opinion, if you don't use your chair much, if you are probably ~100-140lbs, and you care more about the style of your chair than the actual use, this might be a good fit for you. Otherwise I would highly suggest looking for a different chair. The old chair I was referring to in my review has lasted me almost 3 years with the only issue I mentioned being that it's starting to squeak, which easily beats out this ~$100 chair only lasting a month.

Wobbly. Otherwise would recommend.
I don't normally review products but I thought I would this one because I was heavily reliant on others' reviews + I didn't see anyone else mention problems with "wobliness". People are right when they say it's great for the price because it does feel like an overall good quality chair in its sturdiness, look, capabilities, and functionality (smooth roll, arm chair movement, comfort of cushion) however there is a pretty big setback in my opinion with the wobbliness, especially since it's not something I can seem to fix with any set of tools. The steel piece that hooks into the plastic base itself comes together so there is no fixing that. I am someone who cannot stand a shaky table to chair even when i go out to eat so maybe I am more sensitive to this issue than others who are not but I thought I'd put it out there. I have attempted to contact HBADA but it went straight to voicemail. I am seriously considering returning this item and ordering another (especially because it came in a damaged box) because if it were not for this issue I would highly recommend this purchase. I will update this post if/when I receive a new chair. **UPDATE** I requested an exchange and received a new box (that was in great condition when it arrived, unlike the original box). Assembled new chair, which was admittedly more difficult but this one was so much better! No wobbling + somehow in this short window I received an updated chair that no longer has the unsightly yellow buttons people have been complaining about quire a bit in the review section but now a white shade that actually matches the rest of the body! I am very happy with this chair. It rolls smoothly, is very comfortable, study arm rest that is a huge bonus to have the option to adjust at any height... I would highly recommend this chair to any of my friends, especially for the price. It looks and feels a lot more expensive than it is actually priced at. Thank you Amazon for the effortless exchange and thank you HBADA for the great product!

Finally, a chair that fits!
This chair is just perfect for me, and this is the THIRD chair I've purchased. Finally got it right. It has just enough support and height, AND I love that even with the arms down, as I'm typing they don't touch my arms. So when I'm in work mode, I'm free, and when I want to lean back and think about what I've composed, I can do so comfortably. It's also surprisingly light. It honestly feels like it was made on one of those 3D printer things. It was very easy to put together and I did it alone in about 18 minutes tops, including unpacking it. Bravo! Now...about the writer's block...😔 UPDATE JAN 16 I am in love with this chair. You don't know what you've missed until you've got it. The fact that I can raise the arms independently is EVERYTHING! I can throw a leg over one while I'm watching TV or writing, and then totally switch to a comfortable position while I'm doing my nails. And when it's chilly and you want to tuck a blanket around you, all you have to do is throw up the arms and pull it over you. That sounds like nothing but so many times I've grabbed a blanket or a throw and had to stand up to tuck it around me. It's a nice little luxury. I'm spoiled now. At the highest height, I don't even need it and sometimes just throw it on the couch. That's rare for me. And the lumbar support is fine. And the height is surprising, too. I have a cushion that I sit on. It raises me about 2.5 inches or so. Beside my couch this has become one of my favorite seats in my apartment. Oh, and while it rolls freely, it doesn't OVER-roll. My last chair I had, I had to buy a stock set of non-rolling caps because I couldn't sit still in it. I wish I could lock the seat into place at an angle but at a later date I'll probably get one of those too. For now, this suits me just fine.

Comfortable, and looks nice too
This chair was not difficult to assemble. It's nice looking and takes up little real estate, so it's great for anywhere where space is a premium. The seat is just the right depth (I'm 5'7") and I find the back support quite satisfactory. The seat could have been a little thicker/softer, but I've added a cushion, so everything is a-okay now. I recommend this chair for anyone who tends to slouch or bend forward at their computer.

Cute and comfortable chair . Awesome
This chair is asthetic in design. I really liked the cushion , cofmort and sytlish design. As my work table is low height. I was looking for a chair whose minimal chair height when lowered to be 40cm and it met my expectation . Maximum height is 50cm. I have added snaps .
