Hollandaise Sauce Mix, 1.6 oz (6 Pack), Just Add Water

There’s no instructions for microwaving, but that’s how I prepare it and it’s very simple and fast! Just add the one cup of water put it in a microwave safe bowl go for one minute then stir and do 30 to 40 second intervals two or three more times and it’s done and perfectly cooked and delicious! This is my go to eggs Benedict sauce because I hate adding all that butter and milk to the other types of packaged powder mix. The taste is good although if you make it from scratch or use the ones with butter and milk, you do notice a little bit of a difference of it being better not enough for me to consume all of that butter and the preparation method I use is much better and easier for me

I rarely post reviews but had to share some feedback on this product. We really enjoy having eggs Benedict, but it is such a challenge to make the hollandaise sauce. Found this mix and had it today. It was just as good as any other restaurant hollandaise sauce we’ve had. That being said, eggs Benedict will now be on our families home menu.

Easy to do and great taste

If you are in a time crunch this is a good product, but not close to the real thing, except for texture. It is a bland sauce, but it has potential. Add 1 tablespoon of butter, about a teaspoon of lemon juice, and adjust salt to your liking; basically use the sauce as a base, tweak it.

Tastes really good. It was easy to prepare,just add hot water. I boosted the flavor by adding a small amount of mustard. I will buy this again.

Did not like the taste of this sauce compared to other brands. Maybe it would be better if you add milk instead of water.

Hollandaise sauce is largely a matter of personal preference. I've made it from scratch and have tried several different canned and mix varieties, including Aunt Penny's, Knorr, McCormick and several grocery store house brands. What I've discovered is that I'm not all that fussy. (I mean, it's not like we're talking about butter pecan ice cream, after all.) This Concord mix has a few things going for it. First, is the price. Second, is that you only need water; no milk, oil, butter or margarine. Third, it has a nice, creamy consistency. I expect to re-order when my supply runs out. UPDATE: I have, in fact, re-ordered a six pack, as I continue to enjoy this sauce mix. AND—the price even went down a bit! UPDATE: 08/24/2017 This will be my fifth order. Price has crept lower, $11.99 for six. Knorr Knorr Hollandaise Sauce Mix, 0.9 Ounce (Pack of 6) mix is offered at a slightly lower price (12.6¢/pack less) as of this writing, but it requires the addition of milk and butter or margarine, whereas the Concord needs only water for it's full flavor and creamy consistency. UPDATE:05/26/2018 Back for more, The pruce for six has crept up, now $12.94, but I remind myself that nothing but water is required. Plus, I like it.

If you want to waste money, please buy this. Product arrived opened. Package was messy. Two of six packets were damaged. This product cannot be returned or replaced per Amazon. Do not buy.
