I’ve tried a ton of mascaras — from high-end brands to cheap drugstore ones — and I always end up coming back to Maybelline Volum’ Express. It’s affordable, consistent, and gives my lashes that bold, lifted look without the crunchy or clumpy texture. Application: The brush is perfectly shaped — it separates my lashes while adding noticeable volume right from the first coat. I usually do two coats, and that’s plenty for a full, fluttery effect. It grabs even the little corner lashes without smudging onto my eyelid (a major plus if you’re in a rush like me). Formula: It’s a great balance — not too wet, not too dry. It dries fast enough that it doesn’t transfer under my eyes, but still gives me enough time to layer before it sets. My lashes stay soft and flexible all day — no flaking, no spider-lash look. Wear time: It easily lasts my entire workday without smearing, even when it’s humid or I’m running around. I’ve accidentally fallen asleep in it (oops 😅) and still woke up with lashes that looked surprisingly good. Removal: Comes off easily with my regular micellar water — no scrubbing or losing lashes in the process. The waterproof version needs a little more effort, but it holds up beautifully for long days or hot weather. Value: For the price, it performs like something triple the cost. One tube lasts me a good few months with no drying out, and the formula stays consistent from start to finish. Bottom line: If you want big, bold lashes without the clumps or high price tag, this is it. It’s a drugstore classic for a reason — dependable, buildable, and makes your lashes look amazing with minimal effort. I’ll keep repurchasing this one!

I love this mascara! From time to time l try another brand but always come back. The wand is perfect for giving the appearance of longer, lusher lashes without clumping. Washes off easily without having to rub delicate eye tissue. I find that l’m allergic to some mascara - not this! My lashes have got less voluminous as l have got older, this mascara gives me back my youthful lashes. Highly recommend to my “Sexy Sixties Sisters” but l’ve been wearing this affordable brand since my 30’s so you can’t go wrong.

Nice finish but quite clumpy, which I don’t like. It doesn’t lengthen much but it definitely adds volume.

This has been my favorite since it came out like 10 years ago. I've tried every other mascara, and I always come back to this one. It lasts long, good color, doesn't flake/clump. I prefer volume over length, and this delivers. It's the best mascara. It's easy to layer too. I'll do one eye, then the other, then go back to the first and still be able to apply it. The smell is weird, but I've gotten used to it. It's easy to tell when you need a new tube, because it'll have a very distinct smell. Once it dries it will go away. A great benefit is that if you get some on your eyelid while applying, just wait until it's COMPLETELY dry and then rub it with a dry qtip. It comes off really easily compared to other mascaras. You don't even need water or makeup remover to get it off your skin. I often get it on the bridge of my nose or my inner corners, and it comes off will barely any pressure. Wait at least 5 minutes for this, or longer if you can, because sometimes the qtip will touch my lashes and either bend them or a stray piece of cotton will attach itself to my lashes. You don't wanna mess with this stuff while its still wet. Also, if you're wearing eyeshadow and you get this mascara on it, just let it dry, then run your eyeshadow brush over the spot, and it'll peel right off. If you can't wait for it to dry, put some shadow on your brush and rub the spot. The shadow will make the mascara crumble off your lid. This stuff is also easily washable. I often wipe the tip on my clean hand to get rid of excess product, and my hand will have black spots on it when I'm done. Usually I can just rub it off, but it also easily comes off with water. At the end of the day, I remove all my other makeup, leave the mascara on (I hate removing mascara with makeup remover, it always hurts), and wash my face. The mascara comes right off my eyes. Sometimes there will be a little black stain under my eye, but I just lick a qtip (gross but idgaf as long as I just brushed my teeth) and run it under my eyes. No makeup remover required. Despite being easily removable from skin, it stays on your lashes very well. It may get a big flaky at the end of the day, but usually that's because your tube is old, but all mascaras are like that. If you like picking off your mascara in chunks like me, this is a good formula, cause some mascaras just can't be picked off because they're too moist or oily.

I have used this mascara for years and will continue to use it. My favorite!

Eh, this mascara was just ok for me. It goes on nice at first, but by the end of the day I look like a raccoon. It also smells very strange. I’ll probably use it here and there but won’t repurchase.

Dopo che una mia amica me l'ha fatto provare, sono andata subito ad acquistare questo mascara Maybelline The Colossal Volum Express. Valorizza veramente le ciglia e rende più intenso lo sguardo. Consigliato.

Para el precio que tiene no es de muy buena calidad, cubre como un rimel de tres euros que compras en un bazar de barrio. No cubre mucho con lo que tienes que darle muchas pasadas.
