Great LED light
I purchased the 100W LED light to replace a 10+ years old 175 watt HPS (high pressure sodium) light (see attached pictures for comparison, the green light is the old one). The LED light is way brighter and it concentrates the light towards the ground where it should, while the old light was dispersing the light all around. The LED light is well built from cast aluminium and the cover is tempered glass not plastic. The arm I received looks like was welded by someone who does not know how to weld, and the paint on the arm it peels easily. I complained about this to the reseller and they responded and asked me if I think is going to hold over time. I sprayed a new coat of paint on the arm and call it good. For my installation the light faces East, and the photo light orientation was South-East. I removed the 6 clamps that secure the glass and I was able to rotate the photo sensor socket. By removing the 2 bolts that secures the socket, I was able to rotate it 180 degrees and now the photo sensor faces North-West.Shortly after I opened the lamp, I saw that the ground wire was short and not connected, I was able to attach it to the bolt that secures the photo sensor. For safety I put a layer of 100% silicone around the photo sensor socket. This light is huge and it's installed pretty high, I was holding it with one hand and I only had one hand left to connect the wires. I used the XHF lever connector to make it easier for me, link below. Way easier to install than a wire nut, you only need to slide the wire inside and close the lever. As far as the light goes, I'm very pleased, it is very bright and it lits my long driveway very well. The arm angle is about 45 degrees.https://www.amazon.com/XHF2018-Conductor-Compact-Connectors-Lever-Nut/dp/B07K7GX9Z4/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=xhf%2B3%2Bconductor%2Bcompact%2Bconnectors%2Blever-nut%2Bwire%2Bconnectors&qid=1581161309&sprefix=xhf%2B3%2B&sr=8-3&th=1&psc=1

Super bright!
Super bright! Easy DIY installation. Anyone with a limited skill set can install this. Three wires installation and manual booklet Explains which wire goes where. For those who are wondering how bright this is, well it’s really bright. It literally lights up my entire front yard Making it look it’s daylight outside at 2AM. Def does not go beyond the property so there shouldn’t be any complaints from neighbors.Overall win for me! Check out the pics as reference AND YES IT COMES WITH ITS OWN DETACHABLE LIGHT SENSOR.

A REALLY GOOD product at a very good price!!!
The light seem to be built very well, mounting was easy and overall performance so far seems to be very well.I like having a dusk to dawn light over the garage door to illuminate my driveway and the garage door. For years I had a 150 watt HPS ( high pressure sodium ) that worked great . It wasn't super bright and it illuminated a large area. The bulbs lasted a long time but eventually they go bad but can be replaced where as the ballast going bad meant a new fixture. That's what happened to mine so I was going to buy a new one and noticed that they are being phased out and being replaced by LED lights.Sometimes if I open the garage door at night I think its daylight until the door opens a little farther. I think LED lites are the wave of the future so I would recommend one of these as they are real brite but stingy on their use of electricity. And the item help me save money,Less than $80 a year to operate in the most expensive electrical rate areas in the US. Probably $25 per year in the cheapest. A GREAT DEAL SO GO FOR IT :-)All in all, A REALLY GOOD product at a very good price!!!

Well made. Very Satisfied!!!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this light to help out the rather poor night vision of my security camera. I chose this light due to the color scheme. I like the daylight led it makes an area seem more clear. The camera covers an area about 800 sq ft. The 5000K is perfect for this need and does it's job without bothering the neighbors. I have one suggestion, which would be to remove about an additional 1/8 of an inch insulation from each of the three wires of this unit prior source wiring. In addition, i would highly recommend that you remove as much outside insulation of the power source wiring and cut the length of exposed source wiring as close as possible to the exposed wiring on the unit. The reason being is that there is not a lot of room to tuck all wiring up into this unit. With that having been said, this 40 watt led street light is as bright, if nor brighter, than our very old metal halide build light. Now i can see anyone or anything moving around in this area. Light appears to be well made. Very Satisfied!!!

Did not last past warranty period
Light worked for 2 1/2 years (7200 hrs). I tried to troubleshoot by contacting customer service. They would not respond.

Daylight sensor has to be aligned right for the light to work.
When installing the blue daylight sensor has to be fully inserted or the light won't work. I mounted it high up on my shop and was frustrated it didn't work, light barely came on a tiny bit. After searching high and low I found one picture showing the sensor installed with the correct orientation. The eye has to be facing out toward the long end of the light facing front. Once I fixed that it's working great. Nice and bright and to be honest I should have looked for something brighter for my application as I have a large, dark hillside I'm trying to light up and even at 18k lumens it's just enough. The instructions are worthless and with blue, brown, and green wires it's not the same for USA wire code to make sure you test it before you install it to be sure it's wired right and the sensor is working!!!

7 out of 8 worked out of the box...
I ordered 8 of these to replace existing high pressure sodium (HPS) street lights on our small farm. Four stars because one failed out of the box. I popped it open and saw a wire that was not soldered to its position on the circuit board to power the LEDs. Easy fix, if you know how to solder. One has since quit after a very close lightning strike, which also toasted the nearby gate controller and motor. Not easy to replace when up on a telephone type pole. Excellent, bright light for a fair price, otherwise.
