It will not equal your favorite Thai restaurant's, but for an easy to make inexpensive package of noodles you fix at home in 3 minutes, they are quite good & adding some of your own leftovers or fresh veg to them really makes a tasty meal. They are a nice change up from the usual ramen noodles. They are NOT blow your head off spicy, but of course you can add seasonings to make them that way if you like heat. The closest Thai carry out to me is a 15 mile drive and I am beyond the delivery area of the various services. It takes 20 or more ingredients to make pad thai at home, you have to plan for it! **Q: Do they contain meat?** A: It contains shrimp flavor (shrimp powder and salt) and also lists shrimp as an allergen...so yes. It does contain small amount of meat. The broth base tastes delicate and natural not bullion-y. Noodles are the best in ANY ramen package I have ever eaten. You get the choice of adding spice and/or oil to the mix to suit you personal tastes. These are the ONLY ramen I will buy and eat. I keep regular ramen around for the grandkids since they aren't that particular, but I don't share my Mama ramen with anyone!!! These are the BEST!!
