**Q: anybody know the legality of using this as a front plate in California?**
A: You are not allowed to use vanity plates in California.  You need to use state issued tags on both the front and back of your vehicle.  Sorry. ~ Leslie (Fan Cave)

**Q: Do they have one for 1968? Couldn't find**
A: I believe the idea is to celebrate the birth year of Mustangs as a whole. Not just a certain year of build. Mustangs have been officially around since 1964. I have this plate on a 2013 and love it. It carries the history of its ancestors.

**Q: Is this embossed, or flat?**
A: THis is an embossed aluminum license plate.

**Q: Can this be used for historical plates?**
A: Legally, it can't be used for historical plates... decoratively, it could be but it does not really have a 'vintage' look about it.

I was worried that the design wouldn't be as good as it is on screen, but it is as pictured! It is a little on the thin side, but as a decorative piece I doubt it matters much. Especially nice for the price!
